Default What's up with me? Why do I feel like this?

I'm always tired, headache-y and I've just been feeling so down. I always want to sleep and feel like crying for no reason. I'm scared that I'll lose my friends because of it, and I really don't want to. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Well off the top of our heads, Im sure each one of us has ideas... but our ideas are useless if we dont know you.... Can you tell us about you, How old are you? I am assuming female? right? What is you diet/way of eating like? Do you have any major stressors in your life? Any background info that might be helpful, like is this a family trait or anything like that. Do you take any medications??? Im sure alot of the folks here can offer some great suggestions, but knowing you a bit more would be helpful!

Dakota 45,
I'm with "Just Me" on this. There's too much left to know. Like "Just Me" I'm assuming you're a female, but I guess I could be wrong. Having said that, if I had to guess with only what you've mentioned so far, I would say you're suffering from adrenal depression. Let me ask you this:
1. Do you crave sweets or carbohydrates?
2. When you stand up quickly do you get a dizzy sensation?
3. Do you have dark circles under your eyes?
4. Stick out your tongue, looking in a mirror. Is your tongue unusually kind
of quivering?
5. Any insomnia?

Along with what you've already said, weeping without much reason, tired all the time, etc. if two or three of these fit you, my guess is that you need some adrenal support. I recommend NSP Adrenal Support.

If none of these fit you then it could very well be something else. I hope you find your answer and as you reveal more there are plenty of people on here who have good ideas.

I agree with just me. My first thought was also a problem with diet, but more information is needed.

O.k. I'll admit it, my previous post was a "guess". Evidently some guesses are acceptable and some are not.

Sorry Dakota, I guess I jumped the gun. I'll wait for the experts to help you. Keep smiling though.

Naturalman, I think you misunderstood my post... what I meant to say, was that I dont know if what you were describing was Dakota's problem, but everything you said in your post describes my situation... I have all those problems especially the crying over silly stuff... I cry over commercials. I cry just describing what people might look like! You were right in your writing about me... I will be curious to see if Dakota has the same problems. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Please forgive me... I wasnt trying to be rude at all!

Just me, it was clear to me what you were saying, so Naturalman must have misunderstood. Just thought I'd chime in about the crying, I'm exactly the same way. I can get teary-eyed watching a game show, American Idol, seeing a puppy or baby, happy or sad tears, they come with no control. My sun sign is Pisces, and I always thought it had something to do with being too sensitive, I'm not really depressed about anything.

I guess it is I who should apologize. If I knew how to do the personal messaging I would have done that but I'm kind of a "dummy" about this stuff.
Anyway, that list of things that I offered were symptomatic of adrenal depression along with the three things Dakota 45 had mentioned. I had just been reading about the adrenal glands, reveiwing some things I had previously studies (I'm 63 years old and I have to be constantly reviewing) so it just struck me that what Dakota mentioned triggered that memory. I thought, well, let's mention a few more things that may be symptomatic and see what the answer is. It doesn't mean I'm correct, it just means this is something that should be looked into, and, if Dakota 45, or you do find some herbal adrenal support it definately isn't going to hurt and it may very well be the answer.
I hope you'll forgive ME for misinterpreting what you said. I thought you were mocking my effort and calling it laughable. That's always the problem with written communications. They can be so easily misunderstood.

Oh no sir, not at all... what you stated was not laughable at all.... It was the knowing how terrible my adrenals are.. ( I flatlined a test for adrenals a couple of years back) and knowing that I need to make changes that i dont seem to be able to make because of my ???? stupidity... is what is laughable! I know, I have a twisted sense of humor.... but I have recently figured out, that its just a way to keep from getting depressed!

Oh, and please dont stop posting, and dont stop trying to help folks on here... Normally when one person ask a question, you can bet there are at least two or three out there waiting for the response in order to help themselves also... We need all the informed folks on here as we can get... Great wealth of information! We need folks like you to keep giving us bits of wisdom!!!

Question Dakota45

I'm wondering if Dakota could be suffering from SAD - Seasonal Adjusted
Depression? When did your symptoms first begin? Winter? How long have
you felt like this? Again, how old are you? Are you taking any Vit D3, the
Sunshine vitamin! Are you taking any Pharmaceutical medications?

You ain't tootin!
It's funny how quickly things can be misunderstood online. As you mentioned, there's no other clues (body language, voice tone, facial expressions, laughing) to rectify the misunderstanding immediately.
I usually just wait until the next day to reread something that sets me off. Nine times out of ten I read it incorrectly the first time..

Are the glands in your neck swollen?

You could be dehydrated..

Are you male or female?
