Here's my mother-in-law's story:
Her doctors told her that she has kidney damage from the blood pressure drugs she's been taking for a number of years and that she would have to go on dialysis soon. She told her nephrologist she wanted to try natural remedies first and he agreed, saying he was from India where natural remedies are often used, so he agreed it was worth a try.
She saw a natural health person who is also a nurse who started her on the foot bath three times a week and also on some herbs and enzymes. The water from the foot bath was dark dark brown. She went from being so tired she could hardly sit up to saying that she felt like herself again. When she went back to the nephrologist he said shocked, "there's improvement, how can that be, what have you been doing?" But not a happy shock, rather, an angry shock, so she refused to tell him. He then tried to bully her into going on dialysis. When she refused he said, "well, you might as well write out your will." I guess he was all nice when he thought she would be a future dialysis patient--wow, I had no idea how expensive it is--and angry when he saw his cash cow threatened. 'I'm from India and like natural remedies', indeed.
I was a little skeptical the foot bath would have such an effect, how can it be that easy, but I don't think it's the herbs.
I bought one, not as good as the one my MIL uses, but happily, I've had good results. My husband tried it, and the water was clear. His body detoxes on it's own very well, so well that if he takes ibuprofin or acetominophen he has a detox the next day or day after.
