A local girl had a liver transplant around 12 yrs ago. She is 47. Her liver is now having issues and they are giving her 6 months to live. I asked someone if she could get another one and they said she is not allowed because she drinks a little and you have to be alcohol free 10 yrs. I have seen her drink, like 2 at the most and she did not touch any for like 8 yrs before 2009. I am curious, milk thistle is suppose to be great for the liver, but since it is a transplant and she is on immune suppresive meds, will it still be a viable alternative treatment?
