Looking for recommendations was diagnosed with uterine cancer with a recent biopsy. Had a ultrasound that showed nothing (2 small fibroids) no tumors, masses. Clean pap smear, blood work all good. Endometrial thickness of 3. Have been told to see an Oncologist. I assume they will recommend a full hysterectomy ... no signs other than spotting and cramping.. any one go down this road or suggestions?? Thanks

Uterine cancer is diagnosed usually with a pelvic exam, Pap test, ultrasound, and biopsy. Occasionally, CT or MRI may be done to help confirm the diagnosis. Uterine cancer stages (0 to IV) are determined by biopsy, chest X-ray, and/or CT or MRI scans.
