I just heard about Amazon donating 0.5% of each sale to the charity of your choice if you purchase through Smile.Amazon! My choice was The Gentle Barn. You can go to GentleBarn.org to learn about them AND to sign up for them to be your charity choice. There is a book about them too, called The Gentle Barn. They rescue farm animals. The California location is in Santa Clarita. They already had a fire when they first moved to that location. I sure hope this one going in December 2017 will miss them. I'll smile every time I place an order now, and not just because something new will be arriving from my favorite author.
