Well, with all the "miracle products" being sold today telling the consumer about great effects these things can have and bring about to you, it is easy to be misled...
just like Proactive (that acne stuff you see on tv) never really works overnight...
Kinoki footpads. Did you know that they are only filled with iron that when it comes in contact with even the littlest amount of salt water (or in this case, sweat) it causes rust? That! That rust is what is really on the footpads. It doesn't really come out of your body. Its just a big old lie to get your money.
There is a lot of false notions out there in the medical products world.
Regarding lock jaw... Rust doesn't have any thing to do with it. Lock Jaw, also known as tetanus is caused by a bacteria that is found with manure or soils that are rich in organic matter. So no, foot pads would not be suspect in tetanus
"Tetanus is often associated with rust, especially rusty nails, but this concept is somewhat misleading. Objects that accumulate rust are often found outdoors, or in places that harbour anaerobic bacteria, but the rust itself does not cause tetanus nor does it contain more C. tetani bacteria. The rough surface of rusty metal merely provides a prime habitat for a C. tetani endospore to reside. An endospore is a non-metabolising survival structure that begins to metabolise and cause infection once in an adequate environment. Because C. tetani is an anaerobic bacterium, it and its endospores will thrive in an environment that lacks oxygen. Hence, stepping on a nail (rusty or not) may result in a tetanus infection, as the low-oxygen (anaerobic) environment of a puncture wound provides the bacteria with an ideal breeding ground." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetanus#Epidemiology

Really.
And isn't rust a common factor in "Lockjaw"?
Caveat Emptor.
This isn't proactive. This product doesn't have the financial backings of a major corporation, or a tv advertising campaign behind it. There are literally thousands of people that have given it a glowing review .
Soap on the face does cause problems when used too often. I have told several people who have complexion problems to quite putting soap on their face and it almost always improves the skin. I discovered this by myself, by accident as a teenager.
Occasional use is OK, but not every day. I don't know why, but I suspect the removal of much of the oil and who knows what else from the skin, is not beneficial. It is there for a reason.
I think there are so many products nowadays, which are highly marketed, but which have absolutely nothing common with reality. People are buying stuff, which are useless and absolutely do not work in reality. Therefore, I always try not to buy products that are highly and aggressively advertised, but try to think with my own brains and follow my intuition.

You may find that by using a medical database such as PUBMED you will inform your brains as to the science behind acne and diet and make a more informed decision.
Should also remind you that vitamin D3 increases the anti microbial process in the skin so ensuring you are vitamin D3 replete by taking an effective amount of D3 will help your skin deal better with any microbes.

A fair point. What more do you need than vitamins, minerals and herbs (None of which, in most case, cost much to produce) and a healthy diet?!
Most ailments could be corrected and/or averted by dietary measures.
On the other hand, I'm a firm believer in herbal treatments, they can have a dramatic benefit on your health, even in a relatively short space of time. And if you have been deficient in a trace mineral for example, taking a dose of the mineral in question could take effect literally overnight, because only tiny quantities are needed by the body, but we're talking peanuts in monetary terms.
If a product has a high retail price, you're being ripped off!
