Hi Guys,
I have a few questions about MMS for you...
It strikes me that there is an inherent incompatibility between ClO2 (an oxidant) and anti-oxidants of all sorts, not just vitamin C. It is my understanding that spent anti-oxidants are actually free radicals, and that these are not good to have around your system on a continual basis. This obviously suggests that MMS should not be taken as a permanent daily supplement as it may interfere with the body's nutrition and its natural protection from free radicals from other sources.
Does anyone have any information to the contrary?
Following on from that, for individuals eating an extremely high quality diet, with high levels of anti-oxidants in their system already,
is an increase in MMS doseage required?
Also, I have heard it said that Chlorine dioxide 'goes wherever oxygen goes in the body'. My question is,
does anyone have any information about whether this would include the ClO2 actually going inside the cells themselves? I can accept that ClO2 has powerful detoxification effects in the intestines, blood and lymph, but my gut feeling is that the oxidizing effects of ClO2 would be devastating inside the cell, especially to delicate organelles like the mitochondria, which are already subjected to oxidative degeneration. Any more info on this would be appreciated!
Lastly, I feel the benefits of MMS could outweigh any concerns I may have, but I would prefer to do short intense cleanses rather than take an increasing dose for a sustained period.
Can anyone suggest a protocol that gives maximum possible effect in the shortest possible time?
Thanks for your replies!! (I don't yet have experience with MMS directly - just trying to understand any risks better - many thanks for your help!!
