Default Just got back into a hard core exercise

program about 3 weeks ago. Mainly treadmill (4 miles or track 4 miles), stair machine 50 minutes and very light weights. And now I have a soreness on the inside of my right ankle and a soremess on the front/outside area of my lower left leg. Any ideas?

The first thing that popped into my head was shin-splints, which could also affect the ankle because you're favoring one leg.

I had a mild case back in the day when I was running/jogging. It's due to inflammation, you might try something like MSM to help. Also, be sure to stretch before and after the workout, as we get older we need that even more.
