Default Might I have cancer?

Hi, I am 15 and admitting to smoking marijuana for a few weeks. I did research to find they found no connection between lung cancer and marijuana smoking (Only recently I found information which contradicts this, which lead me to quit.) which is why I started to smoke in the first place. I estimate only about 14 grams was consumed and I worry about having lung cancer. I have stopped smoking and never plan to smoke again, it's not worth it to me. I think I may be being paranoid about it because cancer frightens me to death, and I believe I am feeling 'something' but not pain in my lungs and i only noticed after I began thinking about cancer so I think it could be psychological. I heard it takes years to develop cancer through smoking, but still I worry. I have 2 family members who I know have had cancer, one bowel, the other kidney.

I would not worry about lung cancer. I am sure you don't have it. If smoking that much pot caused lung cancer half the people in our country would have been dead long ago.

Worry causes stress. Don't stress yourself up. You have to abuse your body for a long time to get cancer. In other words you actually earned cancer. As long as you eat a healthy diet of more fruits and vegetables and live a healthy lifestyle to have a strong immune system, you don't have to worry. Keep reading to educate yourself about good health. You are still very young. Be excited about life and don't destroy it. There's so much you can do. Really glad to know you quitted smoking. Keep it up.

Cancer can take years if not decades to fester before it is even big enough to be detected, and you are what, 15?

You have infection or something, but not lung cancer, so relax..
