I came across this quote and thought it worthy of mention
"It's a sad indictment of the world we live in that 1 billion of our 6.8 billion citizens suffers from chronic hunger, whilst 1.6 billion individuals are classified as overweight" - Dr Anne Marie Minihane
Hmm...
I don't know what is more of an affront to humanity, the fact the 1 billion are starving or the fact that 1.6 billion are obese when 1 billion are starving???!!!
Yet, those 1.6 billion are malnourished and riddled with disease.
Population growth in Africa is -1% annually due to malaria, HIV, war and malnourishment.
I think "they" have us where they want us....enslaved to poverty and ignorance.

We should be close to cutting that figure, 6.8 billion, down to 6 with all the poverty, disease, medical blunders, prescription errors, hurricanes and tsunami disasters the past few years!
