There must be a mistake why would the �honorable�Rep. Alcee L. Hastings, D-Fla., introduce to the House of Representatives a new bill, H.R. 645, calling for the secretary of homeland security to establish no fewer than six national emergency centers for corralling civilians on military installations.
The bill also appears to give the president the authority to declare �an emergency� and take over the direction of all federal, state, local, territorial and tribal governments without even consulting Congress
According to the text of the proposed bill, the purpose of these �National Emergency Centers� (isn�t that a nice friendly name?) is "to provide temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster." I wonder if you will have option of refusing this humanitarian assistance.
So why would we need this bill if a few more then six of these camps are already in existence? Could it be just away to get the public to think that this is perfectly normal function of government to provide these camps?
Its all smoke and mirrors. But my understanding is that these camps being requested will be more friendly, on current military bases, without razor wire fences, steel turnstyles and gas chambers.
