I was thinking that it might be fun to share movies that we have liked or are planning to watch ... either by talking about them or posting a trailer or you could even post a movie from youtube or somewhere to watch on the computer. I never know what to order from Netflex ... so I appreciate other's input. I'll start with theses:

I love Nicholas Cage, too. One movie of his that you may not have seen because it got bad reviews is 'Gone in 60 Seconds'. If you don't like the movie, well at least there's Mr. Cage. We don't watch movies with movie critic eyes but both me and my husband liked the movie and we can't see the reason for the bad reviews:

I like to rent tv series from Netflix, such as BBC productions or '60's series. Currently we're watching 'Time Tunnel' from 1966 and 'Danger Man' from 1960-1966, both are great:

I watch a LOT of movies on HBO and other channels, also buy DVD from time to time.

I'm watching Oz on DVD, it's gonna take me a couple of weeks. I don't like violence, but I always enjoy prison movies.

I like Nicholas Cage as well, but I have to say I'm disappointed at most of his new movies such as World Trade Center and Ghost Rider. Can't say he had bad performance, but he should be more careful to choose scripts.

I watched this on HBO a couple of nights ago and though it was really good, covering a time and culture of my youth. I never liked Val Kilmer as an actor much but I was fascinated by his performance in this. Meg Ryan is also in it and they're both just about kids. If you like rock and roll you will like this movie, and directed by Oliver Stone. What more could you want?
