Question Braces

Though my Teeth are perfectly straight,my Teeth are not aligned. Is this an indicator of needing Braces?

Only if it bothers you in some way. Very few people have perfect teeth.

I do not know how much braces cost now, but I am guessing $5,000.00 to 6,000.00 is probably pretty close.

A young Lady I know that is age 20 has Braces behind her Teeth. Her Parents earn a very comfortable Annual Salary, yet don't have Dental Insurance. She told me hers cost $3000 and payment installments are $200 Monthly. The Dental Insurance I am soon getting does not cover cost of Braces or Cosmetic Dentistry.

Youd be hard pressed to find someone with a perfect bit or teeth. If there straight and it doesnt really affect your eating or shape of your mouth I'd say dont worry about it. I had braces, 3 years of hell. LoL $8,000 total and painful, blah!

What?

Forgive me, but I'm having a hard time visualizing what you mean since your teeth are straight.

Cookie,
Example: When I slice a Lemon and eat the fleshy inside,I have problem eating. There are other Foods I have difficulty eating. Also,if I'm away, get a hang Nail and don't have Clippers on Hand,I can't bite off, because my Teeth aren't aligned (though straight).

My daughter had an overcrowding problem when she was younger and I took her for braces.

She wore an appliance which expanded the roof of her mouth, and it also helped with aligning. And then wore a retainer for a year afterwards at night. Turned out she didn't need braces afterall.

Perhaps it may be a more simple route for you as well.

Cookie,
I don't have an overcrowding problem.Simply,my Teeth aren't aligned.I'll have to see my Dentist to find a solution for the problem.I'm considering a private Dental Insurance, however, they don't cover cost for Braces or Cosmetic Dentistry. If I do need Braces,I will be in a bind.It is cause for concern.

Yes, I understand that your teeth aren't aligned. The point I was making is that perhaps an appliance of some type may be all that's needed to help align your bite.
It's unlikely a dentist is going to be much help when an orthodontist is what's needed.
Why not schedule a visit with an orthodontist and get her/his professional opinion and a cost estimate?

Cookie,
I cannot schedule an Appointment with an Orthodontist or Dentist until I have Dental Insurance.I haven't taken a Dental plan out yet.

Thumbs up

Chatterbox, I think she means for you to see an Orthodontist just to get
his/her opinion not to have any other work done.
One of my daughters wore only a retainer at night too. She had soft teeth
and our dentist didn't want her in full braces because they might cause easy
rotting. The retainer worked beautifully.
You need a professional opinion before knowing how to proceed.
