Default Great News

There is some great news to report. Good news here and other good news too!
I want everyone to know, I was not able to use the computer for some time. School was out, cleaning out 20 years of stuff from my house (not finished), doing consignment sales, yard sales, and just too busy. Some of you may know that I had to go to the library to use the computer, but now I have my very own (yeah). It has taken a while to get all the kinks worked out.
I have spent some time reading the newer posts and all of the wonderful information Harry posts' for us. Arrowwind, Boss, MadScientist, and everyone else, hello!!! I hope I have spelled your names correctly from memory.
Good new is my daughter's blood sugar is still normal without insulin. She does take supplements and drinks a lot of pH water. She has passed the 1 1/2 year mark following, The pH Miracle for Diabetes by Dr. Robert O. Young.
Arrowwind, I have read a post in the past where you mentioned him, so I am assuming you are familiar with his works. The other good news is a friend of mine has a son that was diagnosed with type 1 last winter and his blood work now shows no signs of diabetes. He too follows Dr. Robert O. Young's program.
Harry, is the green tea extract something a person can drink or does it come in capsule form?

This is just fantastic news daisy!

I think his program is really excellent.

Did your daughter use MMS or Dr Young's Sodium Chlorite product? I don't know what he calls it but he talks about it in his book.

What exactly is PH water?

I'm very happy to hear of such wonderful news, Daisy. I wish you and yours continued success.

Typically, in the controlled studies, they use standardized, dry powdered extracts. They usually do so in order to guarantee consistency, in terms of the levels of active ingredients, that you normally don't find in brewed teas.

Natural foods and products have naturally occurring fluctuations - in terms of their nutrient and phytochemical content. Scientists don't like to deal with such variables. It makes interpreting data almost impossible. So, they opt to use carefully calculated extracts.

I personally use an encapsulated green tea extract myself. It's made by Now Foods. I use it because it's potent and pure. I've contacted the quality control specialist at Now Foods and he explained that they regularly test this extract for heavy metal and fluoride content. He even relayed the results of some recent testing. I found that to be reassuring.

Here's a description of the product:

https://www.nowfoods.com/index.php?ac...&item_id=42834

If you buy it online, you'll likely save quite a bit. I think I get it for about 40% off when I order (at various sites) online.

I hope this helps!

Default proper water

My daughter has not used MMS. I have read a lot about it and wondered. I do buy a product from the pH Miracle Living Center to raise the pH of the water my daughter drinks.
Ideally, I want to order a water machine from www.phmiracleliving.com as soon as I can afford it. I do give her another product Dr. Young sells called, pHour salts that is alkaline.
pH drops will make water alkaline, but it does not do other things that I ultimately want.
I test our water frequently using ph strips I order from pH Miracle.
The water most people drink is acidic if it is bottled water or tap water the pH will be below 7.0. There are a few exceptions.
Dr. Robert O. Young says, "we are alkaline by design and acidic by function". A pH of 7.0 is neutral, below that is acidic. Our blood is 7.365 and the blood will do whatever it has to in the body to maintain the proper blood pH.
I hope I have made sense. I think I remember you are a nurse or you were a nurse.

Thanks for the detailed information Harry.

Your daughter should be taking some good natural antifungals, such as olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract, and oil of oregano, etc, because her Diabetes is actually a fungus. Once the yeast/mould is killed off, her blood glucose will return to normal. Trust me, I've been there.
(She should avoid corn, dairy, wheat, and refined sugar)

Default Tell me more, please

I think I may not totally understand the importance of anti fungals. Can you please tell me more. How will raw onion and garlic work?
I bought a little tiny bottle of oil of oregano, wild picked for $31.00 at the local health food store two weeks ago. I started reading on line about the oil of oregano and several web sights said, DO NOT GIVE TO CHILDREN". One site said, you can use it, but only diluted and rubbed on the bottom of feet.
I don't remember positive information when I researched grapefruit seed extract.
I have not checked into olive leaf extract, but I will.
My daughter is an alkavorian and does not eat the SAD diet at all. She eats a raw diet, drinks ph water and takes oils and supplements. I am totally open to learning and I want to do what is best for her.

Raw onions and garlic are antifungal, and will kill parasites as well. However, slightly cooked onions and garlic (in coconut oil until translucent) will be much easier to digest.

Oil of oregeno is safe for children. The bottle should come with a built in dropper.
What I would do is get some empty capsules, and put in about 5 drops of the oil to start. That way there is no horrid taste, and that little bottle will go a long ways.
The active ingredient in oil of oregano is carvacrol. The stronger the better.

Olive leaf extract is awesome for health. The best of the best can be found at:
www.seagateproducts.com They make their product from start to finish, including picking the olive leaves by hand, at the peak time of the year, while the leaves are green.

Any products that are stored in bins or silos can become contaminated with moulds or fungus. Also stored nuts, especially peanuts. Corn is always contaminated, and since most grains are stored in bins, one must be careful.

Most bread contains yeast, so should be avoided as well.

On a final note, it is my opinion that all mushrooms are toxic. Some will kill you fast while others kill you slowly over a period of many years.
Scientists say mushrooms boost the immune system, and perhaps they do. However, they are fungus.

Your daughter should be taking a good probiotic, which will help keep the yeast/fungus in balance. That will help offset any damage done by any antibiotics she may have been given earlier in her life.

Default Keep talking!

Keep talking!!! This is great information, pinballdoctor. I am still learning.

My daughter does take a digest and probiotic manufactured by Transformation. I give her the digest 3 times a day and the probiotic once a day.

Liquid colloidal's I give are NADP and also in that supplement is colloidal silica and colloidal silver, another combination liquid colloidal I give is chromium/vanadium. I give her those liquids 3-4 times a day. Sporadically, I give her trace minerals, (I am using a reverse osmosis water system), vitamin B-12, and Vitamin C.

My daughter drinks greens with liquid chlorophyll everyday about 45-48 oz. and 20-32 oz. of water daily is plain with pHurify drops. Technically, all of her water has phurify drops added. She weighs 70 lbs.

Daily, I give her pHour salts which are mineral salts made up of sodium bicarbonate, magnesium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and calcium bicarbonate. I do give the pHour salts based on her urine ph. pHour salts will raise the urine ph.
There is one other supplement I give her 3 times a day and it is called pHlush.

The ingredients on pHlush is vitamin C, Magnesium Oxide, Sodium Carbonate, Slippery Elm, Ginger, Marshmallow Root, and Yellow Dock. I give her that regularly because of constipation. Dr. Robert O. Young indicates that most (not all) type 1 diabetics have problems with the lower bowels and they are key to optimal health.

I do know that my daughter has always had a problem with constipation. Cooked spinach seems to help. I just don't know what causes her to have great looking bowel movements for days and the have hard large or small pieces (great conversation, huh?) for days.

No mushrooms, yeast, corn, sugar, bread, or sugary fruits in her diet.
I am trying to locate a good source for nuts and seeds. The nut we use and eat most often is almonds, but we also eat macadamia nuts, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, and maybe pine nuts.

My daughter is allergic to pecans, and walnuts. She ate some pecans two weeks ago and was throwing up within 30 minutes. Once that was over she was fine. I did check her sugar to make sure she was fine and it was 69. Last year I gave her walnut pate and she broke out with hives/red places around her mouth. So, no walnuts or pecans in this house.

Most everyday my daughter eats raw red onion on a kale salad. Does it matter what kind of onion for the anti-fungal benefits? Today, she wanted one of her school snacks to be lightly cook garlic.

Thanks for everything pinballdoctor and I appreciate any advice from anyone else.

I am impressed with the amount of supplements your daughter is taking. I do not know her age nor her medical history, but I like the idea that she takes a "greens" product. Chlorophyll is the life-blood of the plant. It is healthy, increases body pH, and is a great antifungal.
Red onion contains the most nutrients, especially quercetin, however lightly cooking in coconut oil would be much easier on the digestive tract. Same goes for garlic.

I would increase her vitamin C intake to 3000 mg per day in divided doses, and would also supplement with D3 (2000 I.U. per day in divided doses) from now til summer.
That would help with her constipation. I would also consider aloe vera, (juice or gel) and coconut oil.

On a final note, I am not familiar with this water "system". I see nothing wrong with R.O. water, as long as she gets her minerals/salts, especially boron and silica.
Most of the water systems are nothing more than fancy multi-stage filters. They make the water taste good, but DO NOT remove fluoride. That is where an R.O. system shines.
