I like the big bold type! Much easier to read.

Wow, I love the big letters, too! Seems simple, too, for those of us who are not computer savvy!!!

I have to ask the same - why are people referring to big bold letters? Looks much the same as usual to me - am I missing something?

Kevin, congratulations on moving us, our posts, our membership, our PMs - good work!

Thumbs up

I don't know if I forgot my password or what. But I had to do things all over again. Everything's fine now.

I notice that the font is a point or two bigger than the previous board. And line spacing is bigger, too. If anyone wishes it differently, I think they could adjust the zoom feature (view options) of their web browser.

Now I have to go back to a veterinary forum where I just mentioned the MMS thread giving the medscitalk URL. LOL

In the User CP, I think the email notification setting is useful, if you would like to be notified immediately by email if your post has replies or you get private messages, you need to change the setting.

Select 'instant email notification' for 'default subscription mode", also check 'Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages' and 'Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up' on this page.

I would encourage everyone experiment with the User CP.

There is something wrong with the private messages, the displayed count is double that you have indeed. If you see some weird messages (no subject, no sender, can't click), just delete them.

Only the count is wrong, no messages lost.

Just delete them. These were caused by the import, not your real messages. phpBB and vBulletin are two different forum system, it's expected to have some minor problems.

BTW, you can delete multiple messages one time, you don't' have to delete them one by one.
