red wine and melatonin
Go figure ... red wine apparently contains naturally occuring melatonin - I believe tart cherries do as well:

Hi Harry,
I'm wondering what the concentration of melatonin per fl. oz. of wine might be. Have any ideas? |

reply for Lab Rat
Lab Rat,
Sorry to disappoint but I couldn't find any numbers. I searched PubMed but came up empty. There's more information about the melatonin content of cherries than of red wine - at this time. Be well, HH
