Default Brit Docs Quitting NHS To Work In India

Quote:
THOUSANDS of British doctors are quitting the NHS to find work in India . . . where hospitals are better equipped and bug free.

The private Apollo hospital in Delhi is receiving five job applications a week from medics.

Half of its 3,000 consultants are from Britain.

Doctors many originally from India say they are moving because of the state-of-the-art equipment, higher health standards and better quality of life.

Indian hospitals also suffer far less from infections.

One doctor said: The hospitals are better. Where I work is spotless. In the UK many hospitals are more than 100 years old. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...icle590173.ece
If all the VA Indian docs left, they'd have to bring in veterinarians.

So Brits are going to India. Indians are going to USA.
Then we need Gerry to fill the spaces left by other peripatetic wanderings!

Hope those Brit doctors aren't carrying their MRSA with them. In the US about one third of surgeons are colonized with MRSA.
