Moreover, the exercise had a beneficial effect on systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

Subjects completed two tasks: 1) the Stroop color-word interference task; 2) unwrapping and handling a chocolate bar. Not only did the 15 minute brisk walk reduce the urge for chocolate, it reduced urges for chocolate in response to the chocolate cue, and it attenuated the increase in blood pressure in response to the stressor and to the chocolate cue.

The results of this experimental study suggest that an acute bout of exercise may attenuate urges to eat chocolate.

But I don't want to be attenuated when it comes to chocolate. I'm not sure about that "acute" exercise either.

I guess I'm not a real regular chocolate eater anyway. Need to continue to watch sugar. But life is not life without chocolate.

They actually found 25 regular chocolate eaters who were prepared to give up chocolate?. And on top of that exercise till the urge to eat chocolate wore off ?
These people are a disgrace to all chocaholics throughout the world.

To counteract the dangerous effects of life without chocolate, here are a few things that people need to bear in mind if ever the urge to give up chocolate should become overwhelming.

1) If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands your eating it too slowly.

2) Chocolate covered raisins,cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit. Fruit is healthy so eat as many as you want.

3) Problem: How to get 2lbs of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. Answer:Eat it in the parking lot.

4) Diet Tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It"ll take the edge off your appetite.

5) If calories are an issue store your chocolate on top of the freezer. Calories are afraid of heights and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves.

6) If you eat equal amounts of dark and white chocolate that constitutes a balanced diet, as they counteract each other.

7) Remember: Money talks. Chocolate sings.

8) Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.

9) Q. Why is there no such organisation as Chocaholics Anonymous?
A. Because nobody wants to quit.

10) Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way you'll at least get one thing done.

11) A nice box of chocolates can provide your daily intake of calories in one place. Isn't that handy?

12) If you cant eat all your chocolate it will keep in the freezer. But if you cant eat all your chocolate what's the matter with you?
