Every Monday or local paper has a health & fitness section and it basically follows whatever conventionally medicine deems fit anyway and this morning I found this little gem of an article.
Quote:
Statins and blues
Patients taking statins to lower cholesterol and those on low cholesterol diets, sometimes get the blues.
A new study suggests long-term low levels of cholesterol in the brain could lead to that depression and anxiety.
The report, in the journal Biochemistry, found statins in animal cells interfered with receptors of serotonin, a hormone that influences mood, but adding cholesterol returned then to normal
Lets see if I understand this. Youre told that your cholesterol is too high so they put you on statins and a low cholesterol diet to get it lower. But now you complain of feeling moody and blue. Ah no problem we can fix that just increase your cholesterol intake.
What do you think are the chances that those conducting this study saying maybe this trying to get really low numbers isnt such a good idea afterall?
Pimp big/pig pharma? Isn't that what most Drs. do?. Day in day out write perscriptions ka jing ka jing see the recptionist on the way out...... if you are lucky; most of them want the money up front. In this free fu**ing market climate soon business types will just demand direct access to your bank account..... aahhhh to simplify things yep that's it.
You don't HAVE to give Anyone access to your bank account/charge card
or debit card, Ron45. Just say "NO" to that one.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
