Default I'm not aging

I am 20 years old, 5'10, and 130 lbs. I look exactly the same as I did 3 years if not younger. Whenever I buy cigarettes the clerks always say wow, you barely look 16. I cannot grow facial hair and my voice still squeaks from time to time. I have been getting extremely self conscious and I'm beginning to get very depressed. I feel like I'm not aging and I'm just stuck.

Do not worry. You are aging.

People spend millions to look younger and you are complaining? Enjoy it!

At age 20, you're still a baby, so to speak. If you have expressed your concerns
to your doctor and he/she has told you not to worry, then don't.
I had the same problem when in my early 20's; I was carded for alcoholic drinks
almost every time I ordered one. Trust me, age/time will catch up with you
eventually. As said above, "Enjoy it!"

People thought I was 20 until I was well over 30. Be grateful.
I don't look that way anymore.
Last week I had an MRI of my spine.
The doc said that the only notable thing he could see
was that it looked like my spine belonged to a 35 year old.
I was grateful.
Wish he could say the same for my face.

The only person to stop aging or to age backwards was Merlin.

The other is just a fictitious screen character - Benjamin Button.

And Santa Claus is already quite aged; so maybe he does not count.

Hobbits live a long time; but they do age.

Now I can add JHarrison to my list too. When you have the time; please tell us your secret. I suspect you will live beyond 100 too - with all this anti-aging research going on.

Unless 2012 gets ya.

Something is hormonally wrong with him. And I think he misworded his post - he's aging, just not maturing properly.

Do you use a cell phone by any chance? Hormones can be affected by wireless phone use and a lot of other ills, like tumors. In fact, mobile phone use decreases sperm count, mobility, and viability - just imagine what it's doing to the rest of your cells.

The same thing was happening to me in my 20s. And I still can't grow a sufficient beard in my 60s. Don't panic the kid. This is more normal than you think. Race could be involved as well.

There were no such things as cell phones, PCs or any other such proliferation of gadgets until about 25 years ago. The population is still growing seemingly boundless.

ALL of my grandchildren, several now in 20's, have used Cell phones for years.
Same with computers. All are aging/maturing as they should, including the 5
Males growing facial hair. One grandson in mid 20's still has a rather high pitched
voice. I still say, enjoy it while you can!

Smoking eliminates vitamin C in the blood, along with folic acid and some B vitamins.

Smoking will age you, so quit while you're ahead..

Your a rare breed, both me and my sister have it as well. We are in our late 30's now and we look just as we did in our senior high-school photos. Our parents died in a car accident when we where 2, but we can tell by pictures they had the same genetics. I wonder is some people just dont age? Or start and stop late?

I am 49, all I can say is wait to about 35. When I was 29, I could go out, drink 10 beers, smoke a pack and wake up early and jog 6 miles. Not now!

Are you still here? I hope so.

All young people develop at different rates.

I would advise a good, healthy, balanced diet. Plenty of high quality protein and fruit & veg.

I'd also recommend a divided dose multivitamin (full B complex - there are 11 B vitamins). Take one with breakfast and one with supper.

"Squeak"? Probably due to lack of calcium in the blood. Try a good multi-mineral, with vitamin D - calcium needs D to be absorbed and work properly.
