Default The Man who Discovered PSA Says"Its Been a Public Health Disaster"

https://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/10/opinion/10Ablin.html

Quote:
Each year some 30 million American men undergo testing for prostate-specific antigen, an enzyme made by the prostate. Approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 1994, the P.S.A. test is the most commonly used tool for detecting prostate cancer.
The tests popularity has led to a hugely expensive public health disaster. Its an issue I am painfully familiar with I discovered P.S.A. in 1970.

As Congress searches for ways to cut costs in our health care system, a significant savings could come from changing the way the antigen is used to screen for prostate cancer

This is right in line with them now telling woman not to do so many mammographies as well as to stop doing their own self breast exams.

I think that knowing the PSA can help a guy the the problem under control before it becomes cancer. An inflammatory process is much easier to deal with but you wont be dealing with it unless you know you have it.

Instead they should be modifiying their protocols for cancer treatment and only treating those cancers that progress rapidly. Most prostate cancer is not an issue and men live to be quite old with it, is my understanding, but maybe I am wrong?

But since they refuse to acknowledge that an inflammatory condition in a prostate can be dealt with, and for some guys without too much stress its no sweat off their back.

This all adds up to cost cutting and planned extermination though neglect.
Part of the NWO health plan I think.

My Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 93, and the drs told him wait and see, wait and see... he was dead within 18 months, the cancer metastasized with great speed...

I'm a big fan of PSA tests and my husband gets tested, even though he is a few years shy of the recommended age - first sign of a problem, we get aggro with it!

Sorry that happened. The docs should have done a biopsy and determined what kind of cancer then they have the right to say wait and see. Many prostate cancers progress very slowly, others rapidly. So many of the elevated psa issues can be recitified with herbs, antioxidants and mms.
