have you ever "invoked the relaxation response"?
it isn't just "relaxing".. it is like... riding a bike (I could think of a better analogy, but i might get kicked off the forum).. you don't really know what it is until you experience it? but once you get the hang of "getting there", you can do it fairly easily? anyway.. that's what people that practice this regularly (and a woman that taught other people how to do this) have told me. It evidently is a unique physiological response - both mind and body. |
