Default MMS and anti-oxidents

I thought this was interesting. It is from Bill Henderson’s Cancer-Free Newsletter.

Update On MMS
*************
Well, lots of you are using the chlorine dioxide (MMS) and having good results. It is harmless and a wonderful, inexpensive way to cleanse your body of all types of "pathogens." This includes heavy metals, viruses, bad bacteria, fungi (including cancer cells), etc.

No question -- it is a useful substance. Please realize, however, that its use with other supplements is still in the experimental stage. As Jim Humble explains, Vitamin C is known to cancel out the effect of the MMS. Well, it seems the same is true of other anti-oxidants.

A report from one reader was particularly interesting. This person has cancer. They had started with just 2 drops of the MMS and worked up to a dose of 15 drops, twice a day. for ten days. There was no noticeable effect -- no nausea, no diarrhea -- nothing. They were aware of the effect of Vitamin C on the MMS, so they had moved the Heart Plus and Daily Advantage to later in the day.

They did some research, though, and found that the Beta 1,3D Glucan immune stimulant is a strong anti-oxidant also. They were taking it at roughly the same time as the MMS. As soon as they stopped taking the Beta Glucan for a couple of days, the MMS had an immediate effect -- diarrhea, cleansing -- the whole thing.

Their conclusion was that ANY anti-oxidant (not just Vitamin C) should be separated from the MMS (a strong "oxidant") by about three hours. I agree. If some of you have been having no real reaction to taking the MMS, I would try this procedure.

Terry and I have moved our taking of the MMS to just before bedtime. We mix it in a glass and use it to brush our teeth. Then, we drink the remainder. We soak our toothbrushes in a hydrogen peroxide mixture when they are not in use. We rinse the toothbrush with water before dipping it in the MMS solution.

This method is convenient and has good results (for our teeth, as well as our elimination). We've been using water instead of fruit juice to dilute the MMS. For some of you, this wouldn't work because you can't stand the chlorine aftertaste. You might try it with apple or pineapple juice. Just remember to separate the MMS from any anti-oxidant. Three hours is ample separation time, because the MMS has completed its action in two hours.

Default antioxidents

i wonder about the effect of anti-oxidents already in the system (but not in the stomach) and the cancelling effect on the mms?

I found this article interesting because it gives a possible explanation to the problems I am having. I can take 15 drops at bedtime with no problem, but 10 drops in the morning on an empty stomach give me nausea and diarrhea. Since I normally take my supplements in divided doses with my meals, I probably have a lot more anti-oxidants still in my system at bedtime than I do in the morning.

Now I have to figure out how to keep enough separation between them to make the MMS effective.

MMS works great on teeth, although a 15 drop dose may be a little strong.
Jim recommends 6 drop solution for teeth, but I found an 8 drop solution worked best for me.
Either way, MMS is a great product... Thanks Jim Humble!!

This is from Bill Henderson's Cancer Free Newsletter--December 6, 2007
https://www.beating-cancer-gently.com/nl115.html

It took a couple of months, but we are now getting some good testimonials on the healing power of the Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS). I'll get to them in a minute. But first, here's a comment from Robert Peterson:

"Dear Bill:

I am a chemist who bought your (previous edition) book and am receiving your e-newsletter (and I have cancer). I am not surprised to finally read in letter #114 that anti-oxidants 'kill' MMS. They should. And that’s what I have been telling a friend of mine who has lung cancer. However, anti-oxidants stay in the body for more than three hours. Ideally, if you have enough protection, you should have a more or less permanent steady state of them. The beta-glucan instance, where the people waited three DAYS, certainly suggests this also. I am not sure what the solution to the problem is, but if I were taking MMS (and I intend to) I would stop all anti-oxidants for a while to let the MMS work unhindered."

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, the MMS is still in an experimental stage. I would certainly heed Robert Peterson's advice. At least try discontinuing your use of the Beta Glucan, the Heart Plus and the Daily Advantage for a couple of weeks while you take the MMS. You need to be the judge of whether it is working for you. If you experience the normal MMS diarrhea after you stop the anti-oxidants, then it is probably working for you. This should not continue for long (a day or so). Then, you should begin to have normal bowel movements with no constipation.

When do you start the anti-oxidants again? Good question. If anyone has a good answer, I'd welcome it. As I said in the last newsletter, I am now taking the MMS only at bedtime. It seems to work for me, but I don't have cancer. By the way, Robert said he had sent the same information to Jim Humble and to Global Light Network (one supplier of the MMS) and had gotten no response from either of them.

Just a note about soaking your toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide when not using it...
You could also use colloidal silver. I make my own, and it works just great!

Default Food high in antioxidents

Was wondering if the antioxidant interference also applies to food high in a/o's i.e. blueberries.
Thanks

Pinballdoctor,

I make my own CS also but I like the fizzy action of H202

Blue Heron, don't know. Have not heard any diet restriction except for orange juice.

New research is coming out about melatonin and its antioxidant properties and this could be causing your MMS to be less effective right before bed rather than in the morning seeing as how melatonin is released constantly when it gets dark outside and peeks right before you goto bed. Older people may not experience the same reactions because as we get older we tend to make less and less melatonin.

Melatonin is a very powerful antioxidant and it could be reacting with the MMS before bedtime making it alot less effective.

I sense that it could be an error in thinking that all anti-oxidants will effect MMS. Each anti-oxidant has its own particular way of interacting with things around it. This is why you need so many different kinds of them. Vitamin E will not do what Vitamin A does nor what green tea does. To assume that they will interact with MMS is in error. Each anti-oxidant has its own biological pathway.

Obviously, all our common anti-oxidants do not deal with pathogens hence the search to find ones that do. Oxidation is a process that is performed by the immune system and is not foreign to the body. They co-exists with all the anti-oxidant process that we already have. These pathways, I do think, are not well understood. Each is individual and their targets are biologically specific. I think that few interrupt each other but a few do and this has been proven out in clinical nutrition studies.

Hype has made oxidants into a bad thing. They are not necessarily bad at all. I think a lot more research is needed in this area.

So Mari, is your 15 drops at bedtime on an empty stomach? I bet if it were you would have the same reaction as the 10 in the morning, regardless of what vitamins you have taken, excluding vitamin c which seems to have a biological pathway that is pretty specific with chlorine dioxide.

Just how I am thinking about it these days.
