I am new to MMS, my wife and I have been taking it for a little over one week. As I have researched alternative care treatments of various types, I notice a real absence of clinical testing of MMS.
I'm not sure how long it has been used for healing purposes, but with all the success stories associated with it, I'm surprised that there are not more orderly, controlled health tests done with it. I appreciate anecdotal support for it, but I have to ask if the person who supplied a success story about it in 2006 or 2007, is still around to give us a longer term report of its success? Too many of the reports are merely optimistic ones about how excited someone is to start trying it, and they will let us know the results.
I understand the claims made by Jim Humble and others about the way MMS helps, but are those claims supported by actual controlled tests? For example, does MMS truly spare normal healthy cells and tissues and only target the bad organisms and cells, as claimed? Does MMS truly get carried through the blood stream to reach all parts of the body? Its one thing to say, 'It must be true because I feel better' - and its another thing to specifically measure and document the positive effects.
After all these years of using MMS, especially for Malaria as Jim Humble writes about, why are there not more clinical tests available. I guess another way of saying it is, how long does 'the cutting edge' of medical discovery take to be documented?
I will trust the testimonies of people who say they have been cured by MMS for many various ailments. I already have some little success stories of my own, after less than two weeks of using MMS, and I will keep using it for maintenance purposes. My concern is that I want my wife to continue using it to fight cancer, but she is a little more reluctant than I am. She is warned by many that she could be sacrificing her health (or her life) for an untested, possibly faulty, health regimen. 'Trust the doctors!' is the constant mantra we hear.
I can not answer your questions. One thing for certain is that MMS does enter the blood stream and the cure of a variety of diseases can attest to it.
But we cannot say that it absolutely enters all parts of the body. Suffers of lyme disease have found remissions and improvements in their condition but have not found a cure with MMS. There are a couple of doctors in Idaho who make MMS a part of their lyme protocol due to its positive benefits, regardless of lack of cure
I am not at all confident that this is a cure for cancer. I suppose it would have to do with where the cancer is located. I suspect that a stomach cancer may be more susceptible to it than say, a solid tumor in the brain. The mms must get to the disease and not dissapate on the route to where it is located. Then it must be able to infiltrate the diseased tissue.
If studies were done we would know so much more. I would say offhand that the warnings that she is being offered may not be well founded. These type of people will usually poo poo even the most tried and effective alternative medicines.
I have found next to none in reports of cure of cancer with MMS and a couple of the few that I have found I really do not trust for credibility. I would hope that your wife is doing more than just mms.

It is very well known that Pharmaceutical companies make money on sick people - they don't on healthy people....
Second major problem is they can NOT get a patent on the product..!!!
Do you have any idea on the cost of such a research program..???
Why spend money on a research program for a product that will cure malaria for 0,10 US$...??? How do you want to get a return on investment without a patent and sell the cure for 600 US$ a piece..??

I just found a research project conducted with ClO2 as protection against influenza virus..
Protective effect of low-concentration chlorine dioxide gas against influenza A virus infection

Influenza virus infection is one of the major causes of human morbidity and mortality. Between humans, this virus spreads mostly via aerosols excreted from the respiratory system. Current means of prevention of influenza virus infection are not entirely satisfactory because of their limited efficacy. Safe and effective preventive measures against pandemic influenza are greatly needed. We demonstrate that infection of mice induced by aerosols of influenza A virus was prevented by chlorine dioxide (ClO2) gas at an extremely low concentration (below the long-term permissible exposure level to humans, namely 0.1 p.p.m.). Mice in semi-closed cages were exposed to aerosols of influenza A virus (1 LD50) and ClO2 gas (0.03 p.p.m.) simultaneously for 15 min. Three days after exposure, pulmonary virus titre (TCID50) was 102.61.5 in five mice treated with ClO2, whilst it was 106.70.2 in five mice that had not been treated (P=0.003). Cumulative mortality after 16 days was 0/10 mice treated with ClO2 and 7/10 mice that had not been treated (P=0.002). In in vitro experiments, ClO2 denatured viral envelope proteins (haemagglutinin and neuraminidase) that are indispensable for infectivity of the virus, and abolished infectivity. Taken together, we conclude that ClO2 gas is effective at preventing aerosol-induced influenza virus infection in mice by denaturing viral envelope proteins at a concentration well below the permissible exposure level to humans. ClO2 gas could therefore be useful as a preventive means against influenza in places of human activity without necessitating evacuation.

We have quite some experience in helping people to cure themselves from cancer ( lung and bladder cancer )
I can not answer your questions. One thing for certain is that MMS does enter the blood stream and the cure of a variety of diseases can attest to it.
There is enough proof of the effect of ClO2 in killing virus - bacteria -parasites. NaClO2 is used for at least since 1956 as the most effective treatment to clean water before it is offered in public water systems.
But we cannot say that it absolutely enters all parts of the body. Suffers of lyme disease have found remissions and improvements in their condition but have not found a cure with MMS. The problem I see here is the very little amount of ClO2 you put into the body...by adding a weak acid to NaClO2 we create a timed release of ClO2 in very weak concentration.
According to Jim Humble the doses can be increased in an unlimited way up to the max level for the individual...where discomfort as nausea and diareah starts...then reduce a few drops ...

People who get affected by cancer have their body in severe metabolic acidosis for a very long time.... In the case of terminal stage 4 lung cancer the woman inhaled a strong alkaline pH 10 at 5 ml five times a day by nebulizer.... cancer disappeared in 14 days..!!!
Bladder cancer patients had a sip of the same alkaline drink 6 to 10 times a day ....when they arrived in hospital for surgery the bladder cancer was gone....
If studies were done we would know so much more. I would say offhand that the warnings that she is being offered may not be well founded. These type of people will usually poo poo even the most tried and effective alternative medicines.
A lot of cancer are also virus related....so by introducing the strongest viral killer in the world to these cells it seems normal to me that health will follow.....
I have found next to none in reports of cure of cancer with MMS and a couple of the few that I have found I really do not trust for credibility. I would hope that your wife is doing more than just mms.[/quote]
You can wait till doomsday freezes over. You will never see the clinical tests that you would like to see on MMS. Already, they are lowering the ax on mms. Better stock up if you think it is something you want in your arsenal.
