For the past four days I have been giving my daughter MMS. I have great faith in MMS for most things and was disappointed that she did not get a reaction when using MMS to clear an infection in her hand. I also used it topically along with DMSO.

Her thumb was terribly swollen following a cat bite two weeks ago.
I was unsure if she had an infection as there was not much redness around the swelling, I though maybe she had damaged the ligament.

I took her to the doctor today who felt it and said it was full of puss; she lanced it there and then. Loads of puss came out with the result that she can now move her thumb again, albeit painfully.

She was on 20 drops every couple of hours. Should she not have had a reaction?

I had also bagged the hand prior to this which caused worse swelling, something I have not come across when bagging before.

All thought or experiences welcome.

It appears that the infection had a foci that could not drain. When this situation happens it is very difficult for anything to cure it. The wound must have an ability to drain and as I think I may have mentioned to you there could be drainage issue.

I suspect that now that it is open and draining mms may do the job.

I have treated many abcesses, mostly on animals and all with homeopathy. Always the first rule is to promote drainage. A closed foci will create a persistant infection. So your doctor was right to do what she did. And for the same reason perhaps the bagging did not help either.

My son had a whitlow. He would not let me mess with it much. I tried bagging it but it did not work. Since he would not let me touch it I could not determine if it was draining sufficiently. He then went on to mms but I told him he had to push the pus out and he did. The mms worked quickly.

He also cured another abcess that he thinks was caused by a spider bite, and very quickly. That one was freely draining but he expressed it also.

I believe you are right, the wound had a drainage problem. Can you explain FOCI as I have only heard it used in regards to dental foci.
