Default Cabbage Juice calcium content

I started drinking cabbage juice a few days ago to help heal a couple ulcers I have.

The stuff tastes rancid but thankfully I have the ability to block taste as i drink. LOL.

I'd like to know how much calcium I am putting in my body when drinking this stuff. I drink 12 ounces 3 times per day. So nearly 40 ounces total per day. I'm concerned that I may be putting my self at risk for kidney stones or calcium stones (same thing).

I read the suggested adult intake for calcium is 1000 mg per day? Can anyone help me figure out how much Im consuming?

my stomach feels fine when I drink it. No gas or anything.

Thanks,

BTW, the burps I get form this stuff, especially on an empty stomach , are...well lets just say that if you smelled it you would think it came from my back end!

This World's Healthiest Foods article on Cabbagementions drinking a liter daily resulted in total ulcer healing in an average of 10 days. So I doubt the amount you are consuming will be harmful.

The nutrient analysis they give for boiled cabbage shows the calcium content is matched by an appropriate amount of magnesium AND and excellent amount of Vitamin K.
As magnesium counterbalances the action of calcium AND vitamin K is used to transport calcium into bones and keep it there I doubt there will be any trouble.

Chunko first of all I don't believe there is any calcium in cabbage juice. In the cabbage itself yes but not in the juice.
Second, I don't believe you have an ulcer but instead have a condition called diverticulosis.

Thanks for the info. But I'm certain I do have 2 ulcers.
The first one right underneath my right ribcage on the front of the stomach.
It gives me sharp pain in the same location on an empty stomach and some times immediately after eating, hot/ spicy foods also aggravating it. It doesnt make me vomit or seem to get any larger. But I've had it for at least 5 years now and feel I need to take action.

The second one I have is on the back side and oddly enough gets aggravated when exposed to florescent lighting and also lighting which emits from LCD and High def tv's and monitors. The more food I have in my stomach protects it from aggravation. if I go on an empty stomach all day at work, it will start to emit pain slowly over time, it starts after a few hours and gradually feels sharp that travels up to the center of my back.
Whats interesting about it is that if I close my eyes or block all the light, the pain will immediately stop.
