You're welcome! I'll probably spend more time searching info on this topic now that you touched on something I'm curious about~

Wow, thanks for the link! The research matched our situation - my boy always had constipation problem until I fed him goat milk formula, GMF should work better on bowel motion. I hope they do more profound research such as brain development in the future.

Yep, lucky it hit it right on

Wiley's is a good because they show the people who have cited the material too. And often times, you can branch out into other info/websites you'd never find otherwise through those people.

See, now you're just pushin' all my 'online fun' buttons. Lol I get obsessed with reading about the brain, but it's usually disorders, such as schizophrenia and the likes. I'll keep my eyes open for infant/nutrition & brain development. Hopefully if anyone else finds stuff, they will post it.. hint hint

Smile Fish oil & Infants

DHA, which is one fatty acid found in fish oil, makes up 15-20% of the cerebral cortex and 30- 60% of the retina so it is absolutely necessary for normal development of the fetus and baby. Because the last trimester of pregnancy is a critical period for the accumulation of DHA in the brain and retina, preterm infants are thought to be particularly vulnerable to adverse effects of insufficient DHA on visual and neurological development. Early developmental deficiencies in DHA and EPA may lower serotonin levels at critical periods of neurodevelopment. Prenatal DHA availability also appears to decrease likelihood of childhood allergies and have an effect on motor skill quality, cognitive development and behavior/hyperactivity later in the life of the child.

I am a little skeptical about Carlson's, though. Their quality and purity leave much to be desired.
