The only kind they sell in stores has all this extra stuff:
Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Monostearate, Salt, Propylene Glycol, Alginate, Mono and Diglycerides (Emulsifiers)

I tried going to Vitamin Shoppe...but they didn't have it...only coconut water...

anyone know a good place to find coconut milk?

I'd try your local health food store. If you have a Whole Foods nearby, you might try their house brand (365 Everyday Value) which is reasonably priced and contains only three ingredients: organic coconut, purified water and organic guar gum (a natural thickening agent).

they sell thai kitchen coconut milk in krogers....its has a bunch of preservatives in it....

same with roland....

Doesn't look like it to me, in either one of them. Are you looking at the organic?

I'm sorry, you're right...the thai kitchen has no preservatives!...

I just bought a can at walmart for 1.42!

now, I need to find some recipes!
my mother in law was saying someone baked a cake and they put coconut milk in it...and she said it was the best and moistest cake she's ever had....

and she's not into natural stuff nor does she know about my recent coconut kick....
