Carrot and beet is not fruit..

Juices need to be limited. Most people drink two much at one sitting... 2 to 4 ounces will ususally do the trick. Stay away from juice drinks..

Studies on pomegranate showed 1 to 2 ounces a day provided improved vascular disease... But it was pure juice, not a juice drink or mixed with other stuff. Langers makes it.

Fructose Induces Transketolase Flux to Promote Pancreatic Cancer Growth

Carbohydrate metabolism via glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid cycle is pivotal for cancer growth, and increased refined carbohydrate consumption adversely affects cancer survival.
Traditionally, glucose and fructose have been considered as interchangeable monosaccharide substrates that are similarly metabolized, and little attention has been given to sugars other than glucose.
However, fructose intake has increased dramatically in recent decades and cellular uptake of glucose and fructose uses distinct transporters.
Here, we report that fructose provides an alternative substrate to induce pancreatic cancer cell proliferation.
Importantly, fructose and glucose metabolism are quite different; in comparison with glucose, fructose induces thiamine-dependent transketolase flux and is preferentially metabolized via the nonoxidative pentose phosphate pathway to synthesize nucleic acids and increase uric acid production.
These findings show that cancer cells can readily metabolize fructose to increase proliferation.
They have major significance for cancer patients given dietary refined fructose consumption, and indicate that efforts to reduce refined fructose intake or inhibit fructose-mediated actions may disrupt cancer growth.

Fruit Juice drinks. Look carefully at what you are drinking. If te prime ingredient is apple juice or pear juice, just skip it. POM makes 100% pomegranite juie and some Knudsen products are the pure juice. They are however pasturized. If you juice the fresh fruit, you get the enzymes also.

The problem is that Fructose is a highly lipogenic nutrient implicated in insulin resistance, hepatic steatosis, and the metabolic syndrome

There is as you imply a huge difference between taking a fresh fruit at home, juicing it and drinking it freshly juiced and drinking cheapo fruit juice from the supermarket. You are presenting your digestive system with a concentrated rush of calories and nutrients that it did not evolve to cope with.

Fresh Fruit eaten whole together with it's natural fibre is not going to present the body with any challenge our DNA doesn't know how to handle. Juicing the fruit thus removing the fibre will cause problems and the industrial processing that supermarket fruit juices have been subjected to further degrades the nutrient value.

Stay away from commercial fruit juices that are low in nutrient and high in sugar. Freshly squeezed juice from whole fruit is better. On the other hand, eat the fruit whole. In that way, you get the nutrients as well as the fiber.

I recently got a used Champion juicer and I quickly learned from trying out with Kale that it sucks for juicing greens which bummed me out. Does anyone know a way I could start juicing greens?

Actually that is not true. Juicing is usually more beneficial than eating the whole fruit or vegetable, but not a replacement for removing them from the diet. The most beneficial component, the phytonutrients, are not in the fiber. You can get alot more beneficial phytonutrients from juicing compared to eating the same amount of fruit where you will quickly get filled out with fiber. The best though is if you take a concentrated red fruit powder or green powder, made by taking fruit/vegetable juice and allowing the water to evaporate.
