I found a local organic grower of vegetables that are only grown in a green-house. The covering is plastic so they don't use artificial lights but my concern is how the plastic may filter out certain rays of light that may limit nutrient creation in the plants.
Has anyone seen or read information that may shed some light on this thought? I looked online but had no luck.
Most plastic designed for greenhouses is full spectrum.. we have been looking into it extensively this year with a green house on our list... don't worry. go for it. They will be better than anything from your store and freshness really really counts.
