I did look into Essiac tea some time ago but did not find enough good science to back all the claims. There are, however, definitely some anti-cancer aspects in a couple of the herbs as well as some valuable substances I am already getting from other supplements. It probably couldn't hurt, but I am already taking so many things that I don't feel I can add much more and still leave some room for food and wine.

Here's my anti-cancer protocol thus far:

Capsaicin

Turkey Tail Mushroom/Corilus versicolor (beta glucans)

Paw Paw (acetogenin/Cell Reg)

Arteminisin (Wormwood)

Pancreatic enzymes

Aged garlic

Maitake mushroom

Broccoli powder with Lycopene (from tomato juice)

EGCG (extraccted from green tea--take with Paw Paw and capsaicin)

Vitamin D

Amygdalin (from apricot kernals)

IP-6 (not taken with arteminisin)

Aloe vera (D-mannose)

Pomegranate

Curcumin

CoQ10 (not taken with Paw Paw)

Lactobacillus

Flax seed/flax oil with cottage cheese (Budwig)

Fish oil

Quercetin

Saw Palmetto

Strontium; vitamin K and silicon (for bones)

Modified Citrus Pectin

GLA (as in evening primrose oil)

Transfer Factor Plus

Gluscosamine sulfate

Boswellia serrata

Fermented soy: for genestein and beta-sitosterol

Vinegar

Melatonnin
