Default Outward pointing tooth causing me problems

One of my rear molars seems to be pointing outwards more than the others. Its not a huge problem but can cause me to bite the inside of my cheeks at times.

What i want to know is removal of the tooth a good idea or can this lead to more problems down the line?

Removal will not lead to problems down the line. But braces to straighen it may be a better option.

I dont know what your overall dental health is but I would think twice before removing as a sound molar can be a good foundation for holding in complex dental work, if that should ever be required.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed long ago because they refused to break though properly and caused me pain after 3 years of trying.
