What is the best way to treat them to keep them from forming?

and does anyone know where to purchase corn silk for making tea?

I have bought cornsilk tea before. I believe it might be from traditional medicinals.. but dont remember its been a long long time. I know its too late in the year, but I wonder if you could just take the corn silk and dry it out, and then make a tea out of it that way... I wonder if mountain rose herbs carry it. let me see if i can find their website

I remember recently seeing a detox program for kidneys that was suppose to help get rid of kidney stones, but I dont remember where its at, I will have to go see if I saved it anywhere

I agree with liverock.
Nettle leaf is good for dissolving both uric acid and calcium oxalate stones. Magnesium malate is also good for both. The magnesium works on calcium oxalate stones and the malic acid (malate) works on uric acid.
