If you're not allergic to dairy eat plain yogurt with live probiotics (no sugars) or start taking a probiotic supplement.

Put a cup of vinegar in your laundry so you can kill the infection on your panties.

Some yeasts are more difficult to cure than others... thats for sure.

there are two old time cures that have worked.

One is gentian violet. this is a messy cure becasue it stains but it really works and it is the old time remedy for yeast infection (thrush) in babies mouths.. Apply it when in the shower with the water running for it can even stain plastic surfaces if it sits very long.. Use a syringe to apply about 1cc of it diluted in about 5 cc of water. Then wear a pad for a few days becasue of staining. One dose goes a long way. A few people get a minor skin irritation from it. Just apply a small dab of 0.5 or 1% hydrocortozone cream if that happens, but it probably won't.

the other is Boric Acid. Fill a double 00 cap with it and insert daily for about a week.

This is how women survived before all the new fangled drugs.

I made a combo of this for my dogs ear yeast infection and spilled some on top of the washing machine and it stained, but some clorox got it out. For the dog ear formula isopropol alcohol is used in the formula (commom rubbing alcohol) but both ingredients will cure it without alcohol. I certainly would not use that alcohol in your case, and I really wonder if it was necessary for my dog, at that. But it did work like a charm!

I have found cranberry juice to be very effective in treating a yeast infection
it contains substances that prevent bacteria from clinging to the digestive tract and vagina, coupled with a lot of water you can help flush the bacteria from your body.

just be sure to drink unsweetened cranberry juice as sugar feeds bacteria
if you don't like the taste of the juice, cranberry pills are available at most pharmacies and health food stores.

Pure unsweetened cranberry juice is also excellent for urinary tract infections (UTI). You can get a concentrated version in health food stores to drink along with the juice, to increase potency.

Try a vinegar douche one a day for 3 days in a row then once a week.
at the same time take 6000 mg of garlic tabs 2 three times a day during the three days.
you may also make sure that your partner treats themselves as well because you could recontact it from them.

You can also insert a clove of garlic with a string tied around it.

Nothing will work unless your partner is treated as well.

I would suggest colloidal silver, both internally and externally for both of you, as well as taking some natural antifungals and probiotics.

Natural probiotic yoghurt with is meant to work well. Put it round the area and eating it too. I've also heard of the garlic with string attached as Arrowwind09 said helps.

What if it is systemic? Isn't it so by the time it shows up on skin and in other areas?

It begins in the stomach - then onto the intestines? After a course of antibiotics. To be worsened - for women - by birth control pills, correct? Possibly steroids *they are also in many prescription nasal sprays/inhalers, etc.

Add some poor diet choices, late night drinking binges and BINGO! Total takeover of the BAD bacteria. It isn't as if they just migrate to one area like nails and you can assume the yeast/fungus isn't everywhere. They are carried through YOUR BLOOD. Think about it!

By the time it shows up - isn't it fairly SEVERE at this point?

Along with good plain yogurt *not the sweetened crap that pushes pink ribbons! NO SUGAR WHATSOEVER. YOU MUST STARVE IT!! For a minimum of three months - or more. Limit carbs to the extreme! Go on an anti-Candida diet for a couple of months. NO ALCOHOL at all. Find the anti-Candida diet and FOLLOW IT.

Begin taking anti-fungals like garlic for a couple of weeks. Switch to oil of oregano.
Found this:
Undecylenic and caprylic acids are common medium chain saturated fatty acids used to treat yeast infections. Both are found naturally in the human body in small amounts. Common commercial sources of caprylic acid are palm and coconut oils, whereas undecylenic acid is extracted from castor bean oil. Caprylic acid products are far more common than those of undecylenic acid but don't assume this means it is better, undecylenic acid has far more research data avilable on it and was the treatment of choice for fungal skin infections for a long time before newer drugs arrived (1, 2). Both have been shown to be comparable to a number of common anti-fungal drugs. In fact undecylenic acid was the main agent used to treat fungal infections prior to the development of newer drugs and is still prescribed today for some infections. A typical dosage for caprylic acid would be up to 3600mg per day in divided doses with meals. Undecylenic acid is commonly taken in dosages of up to 1000mg per day, again in divided doses. A major advantage of using natural products over drugs is the cost.

Personally, I think we ALL are full of fungus of SOME type. Unless we HAVE NEVER eaten processed, drank alcohol, was on a course of strong antibiotics, etc.

For some, it shows as a bit of nail fungus. Skin problems. If it is now on the outside, what the heck is happening INSIDE?

Vaginal yeast infections do not indicate systemic yeast infections..
The only way to know if you have it systemically is by blood analysis or by a systemic yeast check off list. Even topical skin yeast may not be systemic. I have seem Moms "catch" onto thier hands it from their babies.

At the Essiac workshop I attended last week the workshop presenter said that essiac tea cured her yeast problems that were systemic. It also cured her prediabetic problems.

You are more knowledgeable than I on this, Arrow.

It's just a hunch - how many women get an infection over and over and over without so much as a test for something more severe - or treating the partner?

I guess I am on a crusade to label all infections systemic and dare to be proved wrong. Hope hope hope
