Texas Finally Getting Some Rain! Jim?

I see that Texas has finally gotten some much needed rain, Jim.
On yesterday's National News. BUT, they also said the areas near
Austin are STILL arrid. What a bummer! Any hopes for today or
this week?

Finally did get some rain. About 5 inches in all. The ground was so thirsty; so it did not run off into Lake Travis. So, water supply still abysmal. We need a hurricane. Where have they been this year? Sometimes the rains from the hurricanes make it up this way. We are 2 1/2 hours drive from Houston.

They mentioned the dryness of Lake Travis too, and even showed pictures of it.
I'm glad you finally got Some rain at least - hoping you all get even more. My
immediate area has still not gotten rain, tho quite a few Ky counties have.
Today should be our last day in the low 80's; upper and then mid 70's for the
rest of this week. Weather prognosticators can't seem to agree whether we will
or won't get some rain from the system that brought Texas rain. None even
possible until Thursday at the earliest.

RAIN!

Thank You God! Ky finally got some much needed rain - most of yesterday
with a bit more due today and Tuesday. No hail or high winds, just good
ole-fashioned rain.
