While I think using probiotics as a vaginal suppository may make them more effective I found that my regular yoghurt consumption wasn't sufficient to deal with my repeat UTI infections.

It was only after I used effective strength Vitamin D3 that I got on top of my antibiotic resistant E Coli UTI infections.

Vitamin D Induction of the Human Antimicrobial Peptide Cathelicidin in the Urinary Bladder.

Antimicrobial Peptides, Innate Immunity, and the Normally Sterile Urinary Tract

I think using a variety of different strategies at the same time increases the chance of success and prevents the build up of resistance.

Homeopathic treatments are helpful during uti infections, reducing pain and motivating quick recovery. Symptoms include a frequent desire to urinate with burning or painful emotions, and sometimes painful in the renal area. Offensive-smelling, gloomy, or discoloured pee may be passed. Very unpleasant or long-lasting urinary system infections—especially those combined with high temperature, pain in the renal region. Some helpful homeopathic remedies are:
Apis milifica
Cantheris
Berberis Vulgaris
Canabus Indica
