Hey guys,
Im new here and the reason i joined is because i want some feedback on an ability i have. Professional feedback would be great. I have looked at google alot for an answer and could only find about 10 post in forums of people saying they can to the same thing. FYI I dont think im some sort of super hero or anything lol, i just want to know what exactly this is... I would explain it myself but I found a post in a forum that explained it way better than i ever could... Here is the post that I found...

"I am a newbie here and hope this is the correct place to post this. I would like some advice on an effect that I can make happen to my body that I have never been able to explain. I have been nervous about asking random people I know about this in the past, so don't have any advice from others so far. I hope I can explain this in a way that others understand me.

When I was fairly young (prepubescent) I discovered I can make my body "tingle" upon will. I am now 31 and still have no understanding of what this means. I have looked online and so far I haven't been able to find an explanation that felt right. Let me explain what I mean by tingle.

I can make my body "zip" with energy. It is difficult, but I can sometimes do this in only one section of my body, but the easiest method for me has to make my whole body do this at one time. It is mostly pleasurable, but almost so pleasurable it can almost feel like pain too. My entire body feels fused with energy or power. It could almost be explained as such a powerful state of ecstasy that it hurts. Most times I can only do it for a few moments before my body twitches or I "spasm". At times my eyelids have fluttered or a muscle has jumped. I almost feel as if it is such a state of extreme relaxation that my body can't handle it. My heart seems to be beating harder (though not necessarily faster) after I do this, or I am more aware of my heartbeat. My breathing will either stop during this or accelerate. It is almost always accelerated afterward until I make a conscience effort to slow it to normal. My brain seems to explode with energy too, although if I concentrate, I can suppress this as I can in any other part of my body. I usually feel somewhat drained afterward too. I can do this at will at any moment, lying, sitting, or even standing. Although if I am standing, my knees want to buckle and I don't seem to feel it as fully (maybe fear of falling). This "energy" has somewhat the same feeling as an adrenaline rush from being truly deeply scared, without the fear or somewhat of the tingles you get when a limb that has fallen is waking up and you bump it, except that I have control over when this happens.

I remember how this first happened. I had just read a book about a kid that had magnetic abilities and I attempted to "activate" these abilities in me. I was lying down trying to move something, but this feeling happened to me. I always feel as if I am on the verge of some great understanding, epiphany, or release. I have at times thought that maybe this was "psychic" or "telekinetic" ability coming to life, or the preamble to an out of body experience. I have even wondered if this is uncontrolled "chi" or some other form of similar energy."

If anyone could help explain please do so.....
PS: this guy was 31 and I am 19, but I still have felt it since i was prepubecent

lets take it one further and more specific....

ever since I can remember, I too can shoot a rush of energy through my body.

More specifically, what I do is I can give myself goosebumps on demand. Not by thinking of some emotion...just by thinking of this shooting energy in my arms and body.

You're not supposed to be able to give yourself goosebumps on demand. I was reading about it and it said, the part of the brain that gives you goosebumps is an unconscious part that cannot be consciously controlled.
But here I am....I can give myself goosebumps on demand.

I told my doctor about it, and he didn't believe it was possible at first either.

Being able to voluntarily move your orgone energy is a gift. Yogis work countless years to attain the skill.

It can be used for healing of others, psychic exploratons, Theta healing, remote viewing, astral travel and on and on. Those who have is so naturally should have specialized training... and hopefully not through a governement black box training... learn to use it for light or good. Without training you will likely never do more than make goosebumps... such a waste.

If it is a gift, i don't want to waste it. Where can I learn more about what I am doing and how to use it?

You can do this aswell limitme??
I can give myself goosebumps....I was reading about others who can do it....and they said they feel a tingling sensation start int he back of your neck....which is true....it does seem to start there.

Personally, what we're doing, might just be starting adrenaline flowing....which would not be a good thing to keep doing, right?
You don't want to keep pumping adrenaline through your body....

I do energy work, am a Reiki Master, and it sounds to me like you have a sensitivity to energy that most do not have.

From what you describe, it sounds like what I call *happy snaps*. I can do this from an almost meditative state. It can be used to do psychic energy healing and helping balance the energy of others. Shamans and medicine men throughout history have been able to do this.

If I were you, I'd start learning about energy healing, prana, reiki, ki.... it is a universal energy healing modality that can be used in many, Many beneficial ways.

(And it can be learned, too!) It is all about awareness. (If it is, in fact, an energy awareness sensitivity.)

As I was reading your post, I was sort of able to do it myself. I know I am sensitive to energy but most of the time, I get that feeling from other things. It actually feels like an intense orgasm, but slightly different. I sometimes almost feel like I am blacking out and it gets so intense that I have to shake myself out of it because I get scared. I usually have to be in a very relaxed state of mind to have it happen. Then I think about my spiritual life and it happens. But the feeling comes from something in nature that I am attatched to...like a river or a tree.

jcb123!

so basically, what you described initially is exactly what i can make myself experience. i do not remember when i first was able to 'activate' this sensation, however. i, too, have always wondered what it might mean or what biological/physiological mechanisms are involved. i am not eager to believe that i am accessing some sort of 'energy.' have you found any other information on this? or anyone else for that matter.

I can do the same thing, but do not know what the mechanism is. It does not really have any use as far as I can tell.

I have wondered if I could beat a lie detector test being I can trigger this physiological response at will. Since it is based on a particular physiological response, I speculate that I could produce the same physiological response no matter what question was asked.

The effect is somewhat like an adrenaline release, but I do not think that is what it actually is. It is similar to the response I have when seeing a nasty wound, or something else that gives you the "Willies".

Is that what you are describing?

Yes the feeling I get in my chest feels just like that. But as for my waist down it's like the tingling I described.

Seeing a doctor is not likely to help you, they normally know nothing about energy and are more likely to decide you need locked up or something. You'd be far better talking to folk who use energy daily - Reiki Masters, Yogis, whatever floats your boat.

Pineal Gland Activation

Hi jcb123,

I experience the exact sensations you describe and have been able to do so voluntarily since I was about 14. I'm 29 now and just this evening thought why not have a look to see if anyone else can do it. Obviously quite a lot of people can.

From what I can gather (I've only just started looking into it) the feeling is caused by stimulation of the pineal gland which is located right in the middle of the brain as it releases melatonin.

There's an enormous amount of information available on the internet about this from all sorts of angles. Loads of spiritual and metaphysical beliefs in various cultures for hundreds of years seem to grant the pineal gland a unique significance in that it acts as 'the third eye' and allows us to 'see' far more than it's generally accepted we can.

Most of the information I've found relates to meditation and reaching higher spiritual planes or gaining awareness of other dimensions.

I'd rather not dwell on that to be honest because I find it rather difficult to take seriously. I'm more interested what the effects of pineal gland activation have on the body and on itself over time if it's practised a lot. I gather that it is a gland which calcifies (don't know if that's good or bad), has links with sleep patterns and affects skin condition.

Fascinating though it is to read into the fantastical and exciting promises of interdimensional mind travel I'd really like to try and understand what the scientific implications of being able 'to open the tap', as I think of it, really are.

Basically is it good or bad for us? Does opening the tap preventing it calcifying or cause it to do so, make us sleep better or worse or make our skin age faster or slower? Why can we do it?

I can't seem to find any solid acknowledgement from the scientific community that people can do this and I suppose that's why most of the 'information' I've found relates to more alternative takes on it's implications.

Here are a couple of links to pages which have 'information' on the subject:

I can do something similar, too. Once when I was pregnant I used it to make my baby move so I could see if he was okay. And it was before his quickening so I'd never felt him move before. (I felt bad about it, in case it may have been too harsh a thing to do, but I was worried about him.)

I've used it as a substitute for energy a lot but I suffered from adrenal fatigue so I assumed it was adrenaline.

Ok so I'm pretty new at this stuff but I will try and convey my experiences. First off, I too have the ability to voluntarily give myself goosebumps. The energy eminates from my brain and flows throughout my entire body and can get really intense. I too notice increased concentration and vision.

Second, I have also noticed some other abilities which appear unique. The first is the ability to sometimes see things before they happen. I know right, it sounds really stupid. I don't have the ability to control this, it just happens. For example, I like to watch golf. One time I was watching Tiger on the green standing over a rountine putt for birdie. Now this wasn't an important putt to win a championship or anything. Well before the putt was struck, I saw a ball roll across the screen and roll into the cup. I said to myself he is going to make this putt. Sure enough, the ball rolled along the exact same path that I had just seen and it went right into the cup. I was shocked - I rewound the DVR to make sure that it wasn't a replay and asked my wife if she saw it too. She had not.

Next, I don't know how to explain this one, but I tend to hear things visually. What I mean is that if something is silent and moving, my brain involuntarily assigns sound to the movements. I'm not consciously assigning the sounds to the movements. At times, I notice patterns in the movements. For example, at football games, I'm generally the first person standing up before a big play happens because the noise patterns assigned to the action indicate that a pattern has changed and something is about to happen. More often than not, I stand involuntarily - its a little spooky and annoying to other fans.

Finally, about the only other thing I notice is that I seem to be able to relate to people like I have lived their life before. I know it sounds strange, but its like I can picture their entire experience and see their lives. Also, I feel like I have lived my life before but many different versions of it - as if I can project alternative beginnings and endings based on major decisions that I have made.

About the only other thing I notice is that sometimes I can take a contrary view on a topic and just seemingly "know" that its right. I'm not saying I can do this all the time, and if I try to force it, I'm wrong, but when it pops into my head out of nowhere, its generally right almost 100% of the time.

I would appreciate some intelligent responses beyond "wow" you are super special or something along those lines. I would just like to know what it is and maybe how to hone in on it.

I don't know if this is relevant, but my mom is a Reiki Master and a like quirky. She told me that my guiding spirits are a Phoenix and a Grizzly Bear.

As an aside, this is quite hard for me because I'm a highly educated guy (hold both a Doctorate and a Masters degree in my field) in a fairly conservative industry but I cannot ignore this any longer.

I'm really glad you put so much description in your experiences. When you talk about being able to relate to people I think I know what you're talking about.

Do you ever pass by strangers and get a sense just by looking at them whether they are sweet people or not?

Its wierd, but I'm usually attracted to people partly based on what type of person they are, and not entirely on their looks. And I'm talking about strangers.

I seem to be able to feel emotions and feelings that people next to me feel. Now perhaps I'm just assuming they feel a certain way and I'm completely wrong.

Not in the same way as you described. However, I have noticed that I'm kind of a human barometer when it comes to people in that I can generally discern whether a person is good or bad. In other words, I cannot feel what they are feeling.
