Vitamin C ???
The following is what I understood from an e-mail I got from a friend.
A Taiwanese woman died suddenly. She had signs of bleeding from the ears, nose and mouth. After an autopsy, it was determined that death was due to arsenic poisoning.
The arsenic was believed to have been produced in the stomach of the deceased, after she ate a large amount of shrimp/prawn that reacted with Vitamin C which she took on a daily basis.
It was reported that researchers at the University of Chicago found that shrimp/prawn has five potassium arsenic compounds which are normally not harmful to the human body. But those compounds become very toxic when they react with vitamin C. Comments from those who know?????
