Default Viral load results are back

I got my viral load tests back today. I have a doc's appointment on Weds. but can some one help me read the results. I'm from canada too. HCV RNA > (IU/ml)> 2466, HCV RNA (log10 IU/ml)> 3.39 Note; The lower limit of detection is 15 Iu/ml and the assay is linear between 43 to 69,000,000 Iu/ml. Quantitative assay variability may result in up to 5 fold (0.5 log10) differences between specimens. Does someone know how to read this for me?? thanks Geraldine

I really don't know how to read it. Maybe this site can help
https://www.hivandhepatitis.com/hep_c/hepc_test.html

I would think you would be looking for numbers lower than on your last test. Do you have it around to compare?

Hello Geraldine, Your RNA test is looking good, viral loads are low. The mL at 3.39 and your actual viral count at 24,660.~ [corresponds to the 3.39 reading] Hope this is going in the direction of declining for you.
