Default Red and Rashy Around 15 Month Girl's Area

My little girl (15 months) has gotten something around here groin area. Its red and rashy looking. We thought it was diaper rash, because we had switched diapers. But then we switched back and its still there. I've tried budrreauxs natural butt paste and coconut oil and aloe vera, but it hasn't helped.

What is good for a rash? If it is a fungus, could the beadreauxs help? All it has is zinc oxide.

Give her several hours every day without a diaper on and some sunlight if possible. Dryness, air and light is the best treatment many times.

Wash her bottom several times a day with just water or a very mild baby soap. I always just popped them under the faucet in the kitchen sink for a quick rinse.

I she teething yet? Sometimes this goes along with teething. The urine can sometimes also smell strong when teething goes on... don't know why.

Has she been on antibiotics? You can suspect fungus if she has in which case a an over the counter anti fungal will take care of it like miconazole.. or topical colloidal silver.

I never liked zinc ointments because they were hard to wash off. I always preferred A & D ointment.

Are you using the super ultra type of diapers??/ I dont remember which company it was, but one of the newer diapers that was super absorbant, ultra dry was causing chemical burns in the little ones..... might try going to a less ultra type diaper, or maybe try cloth diapers for awhile.

Also, what is she drinking? My grandson was getting some serious rashes too, but we realized that it only came when he was drinking his apple juice...We discovered that they were putting sucralose in the apple juice...So after some experimenting, we found out that the sucralose is causing his rashes.

Ive always loved desitn, to me works the best! Cornstarch is good too!

she's not teething. I really believe it was the papmer diapers we switched to. although she's been out of those for about a week now, and back into the huggies. it was the pampers that had the recall. we think maybe she got diaper rash from the pampers and then it turned into something else. i'll try rinsing her more and letting it air out without a diaper.
thanks for the advice.

Try giving her soaks in baking soda bathwater. The alkalinity of the baking soda can help relieve the acidity on her skin. Also, give her pure water to help flush out her system.

Topical colloidal silver for sure, and possibly olive leaf spray, such as this:

I'm thinking its fungal. If it is fungal, will colloidal silver get rid of it? As for the olive leaf spray...I've always wanted an excuse to get that. I want to try it myself. I take afrin every night. if it is fungal, wouldn't the coconut oil get rid of it? Because I;ve tried that and it didn't.

Colloidal silver will help because it works against fungus, bacteria, viruses, and parasites. It is also used on burn victims because it prevents infection while helping to regenerate skin tissue.

Olive leaf spray is also a very good product. In fact, olive oil is just as potent.

I think coconut oil would help as well, but may take a little time.

IMO, if you were using the pampers that were recalled, then you probably have a chemical burn which got infected..... But yes, collodial silver will help either way..... I would try giving her a bit more water also, not having enough water will cause her urine to be stronger, which can cause the redness....
As a mother, who has had a child molested before, I have to ask, is it possible that she has someone touching her down in those areas... Im not saying you, but maybe a daycare worker or an uncle or an aunt...(a female molested my daughter) Just throwing the idea out there.....
I also remember a tv program about a child who had issues with their diaper wipes....they do put alot of chemicals into our paper products now a days..... Might want to try getting some organic paper towels, (the kind with no perfumes, or bleaching agents or crud like that) and maybe wash her using baking soda water, or hydrogen peroxide water, or even the collodial silver. It sounds like she is having an allergic reaction to something to me...but its so hard to tell..Hope you find the answer soon

she doesn't go to daycare. the only people who watch her are me and my wife. it probably was a burn from cheap crappy dangerous FDA approved diapers that turned into an infection. We got some anti fungal cream. It seemed to help a little. Its less red and starting to turn light pink.
