Obviously our representatives were the ones that passed NAFTA but unfortunately these illustrious trusted representatives are for the most part nothing but puppets following the orders of the bankers and Wall Street. \n Have you been following the recent republican debates? It is easy to see that the “powers-that-be” have already decided who we shall be allowed to vote for. Through their controlled media outlets all we hear is Perry has said this or Bachmann and Romney have said that. As for all the other candidates considering the coverage they get they might as well not even bothered to show up.

\n And then there is Ron Paul who has been consistently winning straw poles and has been shown to be the clear winner in many after debate poles. Yet from the controlled media all we hear about him is a deafening silence. When they’re forced to say something about him it typically followed with the caveat “but he can’t possibly win” after he has just shown that he can!

\n Interestingly right after the last debate Fox News website had a pole showing him at 39%, Romney about 23% and Perry about 13%. Later the next day the pole was dropped from the site and they claimed Romney the winner? Oh well so much for fair and balanced. Of course the other major networks aren’t any better.

\nI know you care about people or you would not work very hard trying to help them like you have for me. As what many might call an older person, I too care and sometimes it comes out wrong but please let me give you an example.

\nAlthough where we live - many do not make hugh amounts of money, they still depend on wall street. The companies my family and friends work for have stock that they hope will remain constant in order to continue providing jobs to them. And although main street has been hit harder than most businesses, it too depends on people having those jobs to be able to purchase items. Such a balance.

\nNot sure if your community is large or small but we have a bakery with a board that lists names of people in need of prayer. The prayer may be for healing or jobs but when good news comes, they rejoice.

\nMy daughter had people she did not even know, send cards, call and encourage. I remember the day she opened one card that was signed by everyone at the bakery that day. Her heart was touched by that fact that someone cared.

\nNo the town is not perfect, there are those that gossip and complain but most are very good people who truly care and would give the shirt off their back to help. This is what I love about living in America and this is what I pray will not end for the next generation.
