Well when we vote we get a listing of all the candidates running for each office. Now if for some reason all of these candidates that were so carefully chosen for us are a total bunch of losers, which I believe they are, we have the option to write in anyones name that we chose. Of course there is a problem with this in that most of the sheeple will continue to just blindly vote for one of the official candidates. They feel that they must support their party no matter what, even if their candidate is a complete bozo, because this is the way that they have always voted and to change would be unthinkable. This insures that we will get the lesser of two evils. Unfortunately with our current candidates the lesser of the two evils is still an evil. It is said that a write in is a wasted vote because it is next to impossible for that person to get even a minuscule amount of votes. This of course is true and I dont expect that to change. But this year there are a lot of Ron Paul supporters out there and if they chose to do a write-in then who ever wins will probably not have a landslide victory and would be less likely to be able to do whatever he wants. Regarding Obama I heard his campaign manager give an interview the other day. He was asked a number of specific questions as to what Obamas plans and goals were. In typical politicians speak the man talked for about ten minutes and skillfully managed not to answer any of the questions instead just said that Obama is for change? |
