Default North Korea - the new terrorist?

The Americans (and the Brits) went after Saddam Hussain cos he had a big Weapon of Mass destruction that erm self destructed before the allied forces got to it I guess?

Wonder if any military action will be taken against North Korea who clearly have nukes and medium range missiles.

So much for trying to be fit and healthy when you got muppets playing with nuclear power and polluting us.

Personally, I do not think North Korea should be negotiated with. They have proven time and again that this is not a viable option. We (preferably with UN and with NATO support) should just go in and take out their nuclear facilities and launch sites. They are so poor it will take them quite a while to reconstruct, probably giving the world about 10 years before they get to it again, and maybe Kim will be gone by then, and maybe his son has more sense, hard to say.

It is clear to me that people in Utah and Nevada pay dearly healthwise for the nuclear testing that has gone on here since its inception

Go in and take out their nuclear facilities and launch sites. You make that sound so simple. So why is it not being done?

Probably because they don't have any oil or other stuff that we or the NWO wants. Really, they are of no strategic interest economically or otherwise. If it starts getting too difficult for Japan or South Korea we may be forced into doing something. I think the leaders of North Korea know it would only take a few days for the world to snuff them out.

The permanent solution would be liberating the people and turning North Korea into a democratic country.

Yes, but that would take another war. Is China willing to pay? Well, heck, they are paying for everything already, what's another small war on the tab? US is bankrupt. Britain is bankrupt, Japan is bankrupt. Who is solvent these days? Oh ya, I heard Montana was in the black.

China needs liberation as well, but it could cost more. Small countries should be taken of first.

If China does not liberate itself it will remain a prison. There is no one to do it. Already China bankrolls the USA. I'd be more concerned about them getting power here on our shores. There are a lot of Chinese communists here already.

You don't have to worry about that. Most officials (even low ranking) in China send their children (with lots of money) to America, because they are worried about their safety. Their intentions are not gaining power.

The reason that Chinese government are paying for everything is that they are afraid, if they can make USA and other countries happy, they are safe. Nowadays, it's extremely hard to overthrow a tyranny just by the people themselves. Their major concern is other countries especially USA. Iraq is a good example.

I don't think America wants to change China, since they are benefited a lot from current China. Chinese government has done so many extremely stupid things, which democratic governments would never do.

There are many in Chinas elite that would love to see China return to the world leader status it had centuries ago. But if they were to try a military take over of the US and if they were able to succeed the problem is who would then buy all of the junk that factories are producing? This could cause mass unemployment and those unemployed folks might start causing real problems for the elite. Thus this could be a modern version of mad that we had with Russia during the cold war.

Do you think the people would still fight for them if another war comes? No way. It's not like 50 years ago. Those so-called elites are worrying about how to keep their superior benefits over the people, their first priority is making America happy.

I can only comment that the U.S. by its actions is making China look like a superstar. China's stimulus spending has very quickly provided real stimulus to its economy while our stimulus has done nothing positive for the economy while paying off Democrat party supporters. While China moves ever closer to real prosperity through free markets, the U.S. is moving away from free markets toward European socialism. Talk about stupid actions. You figure.

Best regards, Ben

Ben: Chinese government is the richest one in the world. When the crisis comes, there is no wonder that they have more cards than any other countries to play.

Kevin,

Yes, and their people are becoming more prosperous each year as we are on a track to lose our prosperity. As it looks now, in not too many years no one will come to the U.S. to gain prosperity.

This news report is emblematic of the situation we in the U.S. find ourselves.

"In his first official visit to China since becoming Treasury
Secretary, Mr Geithner told politicians and academics in Beijing
that he still supports a strong US dollar, and insisted that the
trillions of dollars of Chinese investments would not be unduly
damaged by the economic crisis. Speaking at Peking University, Mr
Geithner said: "Chinese assets are very safe."

The comment provoked loud laughter from the audience of students."

Best regards, Ben

Yep in the free market race we lost all our industrial base to foreign nations. Now we have next to nothing. We produce next to nothing from the bottom up. All our business has gone to other countries where people work for a couple of bucks a day and live in shanti houses...some even use slave labor.

Free markets? BS. nothing is free.

This is why Obama is struggling to save our auto industry. Looks like China is going to own Hummer now...right here on American soil. Oh well. Hummer is a looser. They can have it.

We are now a nation that lives on the medical industry, selling insurance and bogus financial products and fast food restaurants. A service based economy is destined to fail.
