\nFrom the image you can see that POTATO CHIPS, POTATOES, and Potato fries are the biggest source of weight gain combined with Sugar Sweetened beverages (this includes HFCS) AND 100% fruit juices.

\nI think we (UK readers) ought to remember this data comes from the US Nurse Health Study data so the meat consumption is US meat much of which is feedlot produced. UK red meat is mainly grassfed. US dairy is different from UK dairy our cows still spend most of the day outdoors eating grass there are moves to bring them in and take the food to them in pelleted form but it\'s not happened yet. (Archers fans will be aware that Debbie is trying to talk Brian into starting a big industrial dairy operation)

\r\n \r\n If you really want to lose weight you have to evaluate your cals/macros a day.
\n
\nMacros are protein, carbs and fat. Im 70kg and losing weight at mo. I eat 100-120g protein a day, 50g of carbs and fat Im still working on the right sources.
\n
\nYou need all 3 of them as they help each other in different ways. Get these in the right percentage daily (lots of calculators online) along with your vitamins and essential building blocks and you\'re good to go. They are all, including fat the only way to lose weight.
