Does anyone else wake up SUPER TIRED every single day? I'm like dead to the world when I wake up. It's awful. I sleep 8-9 hours a night and I HATE waking up. I usually have a difficult time falling asleep, but when I do, I am usually sound asleep.

Hmmmm! Seems like you are a deep sleeper. that is normal for the most part. Also, if you are taking hebs/supplements to mellow you out, quit taking them in the evening.
This could be caused by lots of things. Do you smoke, drink? What is your diet mostly comprised of? Do you drink filtered water? Do you take any vitamins?
You could look in to iodine supplementing, I have found this help with my getting good sleeps and waking up in the morning.
Sometimes it could be something that's not physical. A depressed feeling, a negative attitude, etc. If you could think of something to look forward to doing the next day, you may feel more energized in the morning. Also, taking the time for some good stretches, even while lying in bed before getting up, makes the body and mind feel more 'alive'.

Lots of things can be the cause of this, but right off the bat I think of sleep apnea. Are you by any chance overweight? Has anyone complained that you snore a lot? And has it always been like this for you, or is it something more recent?

It's how it started with me, having trouble getting to sleep, but once I was asleep I slept fine, but woke up as if I never got enough sleep. I take sleeping herbs daily now though, but can't say I sleep the greatest
I would limit caffeine for sure
do you wake up covered in sweat. Does it feel like someone cranked up the heat in the middle of the night. Avoid caffeine at all costs. Did you change bedding, detergent, any thing that may be causing an allergy. Are you tired after you get up and moving?
I'm already basically caffiene free. Very strict diet. My proteins, veggies, some fruits, that's about it. Hagen Daze 5 ice cream (rarely). It's the new line with only 5 ingredients. No carrageenan, gums, etc... And again, only occasional. It's been quite a while now though. I do stress a TON! I hate it. Maybe that has something to play on it.
Lack of energy could be from being deficient in B12, could be from high or low blood sugar, and could also be from being deficient in one or more mineral, of which there are 60.
Good health begins in the gut, so would suggest a good daily probiotic. That will increase your B12. I would also suggest D-Ribose and Co Q10 because they will increase energy directly in the cells.

Probably burned out then. Happened to me from working way to much when I was younger. Are you getting enough fresh air at night. House are being built tighter and tighter, you may be not have enough air at night. I suspect you are not breathing properly.

There was a time when I felt like this a lot, and it all came down to a deficiency in Vitamin B12. So that might be worht checking up on.
I started taking some vitamins and ate more food rich in Vitamin b12 and felt better after about 1-2 months. I think it takes time before your body actually adjusts or something.
You might want to do a little research on adaptogenic herbs.
Adaptogen is a class of herbs that help lower cortisol levels, enhance immune function, and reduce anxiety, insomnia and depression. Adaptogens are herbs that help the body and mind adapt to physical, emotional and environmental stressors. Adaptogens work on many body systems at once, including the immune system and nervous system. They work differently in each person, giving your body specifically the tools it needs. In some cases, they can be energizing (but not necessarily stimulating), and in other cases, they can be calming (but not necessarily sedating).
Quote:
In many studies adaptogens have been shown to:
Increase physical and mental stamina and performance
Protect against the effects of radiation
Reduce the side effects of chemotherapeutic drugs
Reduce the incidence of infection
Increase resistance to chemical carcinogens
Herbs with well-established adaptogenic activity are:
My favorite is ashwagandha. It is easily found at any of your favorite supplement vendors. Ashwagandha is particularly helpful in stress related disorders such as arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, and premature aging. It raises physiological endurance and protects effects of stress. It is anti-inflammatory and helps treat pain from situations such as arthritis and sciatica. Ashwagandha also helps defend brain cells. Research has exposed that ashwagandha extract helps to rebuild networks of the nervous system, it's a potential treatment for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.
