Hello, my name is Josh. I'm 23 years old, and I have some pretty severe teeth issues. After visiting the dentist last week, I've been told that I have three teeth that need to be removed, and that I have five cavities that need to be filled. Of the teeth that need to be removed, two are broken - one more severely than the other. The less severe one was recommended for a root canal - which I will definitely NOT do - or she said it should just be pulled, because "it's cheaper."
Upon hearing this, I very nearly fell over. I was terrified. All of my favorite crunchy foods seemed to be a thing of the past, instantly, and I could hardly keep my composure. Especially since the dentist really didn't seem to care.
I'm very hesitant to get fillings. I've had them before, as a child, but they were all in baby teeth that have since fallen out. I'm really a healthy person, and the last couple years I've completely transformed my diet and lifestyle to accommodate a need to be in touch with nature. I believe that my body can heal a tooth with no more difficulty than it would take to heal a broken bone.
That being said, I'm curious if anyone here has had any success healing their teeth, and what it is they did to gain success.
My plan is to add Cod Liver Oil to my diet, cook with butter oil or ghee (and maybe take a spoonful here and there, for good measure), supplement with magnesium and calcium, eat some animal organs fairly regularly (can't handle liver, thinking heart would be tasty tho), and up my vitamin D supplement ( I take 1000 iu a day, I thought that was enough).
I hope this is enough. I could barely afford to go to the dentist, which is most of the problem that's led to this scenario, so my initial investments in these healthy things is really going to be difficult. That said, is there anything else I should be doing?
And, back to my original question : has anyone on this forum had any success rebuilding cavities? Particularly the "bad" cavities? My worst is on the top, and the cavity has extended into the pulp. About 1/4 of the tooth is missing because it broke.
I really don't want to lose my teeth. I'm hoping to turn into a health warrior and go into attack mode to save them. Any advice or stories of success would be greatly appreciated.
The single most effective agent for healing cavities is ozone gas. Ozone can actually rebuild teeth. You can purchase an inexpensive ozone machine from Enlay that can do the job. You can also rinse your mouth with MMS two times a day for two weeks then biweekly for a while, then weekly.
Just be careful using the ozone because it is toxic to inhale...
This is misinformation put forth by those who have no experience with it and have not disucssed the matter with those who have inhaled ozone, at rather high concentrations, regularly.
That's true that ozone is very safe other than accidentally breathing it in. You'll wish you had never done that. I did once while I was putting ozone on my ear (insufflation). I thought I was not ever going to be able to take another breath. Temporary but brutal. But I even use ozonation to clean my grocery produce - nothing is better than that. I use it in my bathroom as an air purifier to kill mold and mildew. So, if using it for home remedy, you should respect it. Just as if you were to use 32% hydrogen peroxide. Respect.

I know someone who makes ozonated oils. This requires high levels of concentrated ozone. He will make many jars at one time, keeping them in a closed room that he enters into. PM me if you want to talk to him.
When he started to do this it caused a lot of coughing. He said that it caused him to spit out some pretty nasty stuff from his lungs over the course of days to weeks. He kept repeating his exposure to the ozone. In time he no longer had reaction to ozone and his lung capacity greatly improved. He said he runs concentrations way way up there in the 80s and higher to make ozonated oil. Ozone in his lungs no longer bothers him at all.
Yes, if your lungs are toxic you will react.
Just like the myth that ozone should not be given by direct IV becasue it will damage your viens and cause an 'air' emboli in the heart... all bs. I know several docs who administer direct IV ozone all the time. If it is correcly appied by IV it is impossible to create an 'air' emboli or ozone gas emboli.
I know of another person who cured his wife's lung cancer with inhaled ozone at night when they slept. not as high a concentration as the guy who makes oils but significant.
It would great if you could use the internet to find a more sympathetic dentist in your area. I lucked into one I am very sympatico with. I had a tooth on the verge of a root canal and he put some clove in to see if it would heal. So far so good.

Get a night guard, you are a teeth 'bruxer'. Fancy word dentists use for people who grind their teeth. The $250 ones your dentist makes are nice because you can talk with them in. If you cannot afford one of those, get one of the $14 ones at the drug store.

Thank you all for your input. I appreciate the responses.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford to purchase an ozone machine. That's a huge investment for my budget, and it's something I will consider down the road.
I will be finding gum with xylitol, though. That sounds promising.
And I might be able to do a night guard - though I'm not sure that grinding my teeth is the problem. My cavities seem to start between my teeth, because I have issues committing to flossing (among other things; acid erosion is also a huge culprit).
Since posting this original topic, I've done a lot of changes.
First, I'm done with sugar - for the most part. Totally cut soda and juices out of my diet, and now I don't use any sugar in my coffee. In fact, typically what I drink on a daily basis is coffee in the morning (with unsweetened almond milk and raw honey - you should try it!), and water for the rest of the day. Once in a while I indulge in some wine. That's it.
That change alone has halted my tooth decay. It was a huge part of the problem. Nothing has gotten worse since October.
I've also been using comfrey. Until recently, I was just putting the powdered root in my mouth with water and using it as a 10-20 minute mouth rinse. It didn't seem quite strong enough, so I've moved on to a vodka tincture of powdered comfrey root - that just finished in the past couple of weeks.
I still try to make pasture butter a huge part of my diet, but my living situation makes that option difficult to come by in the winter months. I'm moving to Seattle in two weeks (!) and I'm hoping I can find it there. It's so delicious!
I also eat eggshells occasionally, though I'm not sure this does anything other than supplement my vitamins. Yes, I was them and boil them first. You really don't even notice them in a smoothie if you put them in the blender FIRST with a little bit of tea at the bottom and powder them - like it's not even there.
Anyway, I'm doing a follow up to update the post. I've noticed some slight progress - the cavities do seem to be shrinking very slightly, but not as fast as I'd hoped or expected. I think I'm going to incorporate some other tinctures into my arsenal - I've heard good things about using (very cautiously) black walnut tincture, orally. Also, apparently clove is good as well.
Do any of you have experience with these substances? Recommendations for purchasing them - brands to choose, maybe? Or am I better off making my own, like comfrey? Should I keep eating eggshells?
I just want to heal and get this over with.
Oh, and I just got hooked on meditation like three weeks ago and I'm starting to do healing meditations, too. I feel like that should help a lot and is worth mentioning.
I've twice reversed tooth decay. I remineralized the tooth decay by using amino acid chelate multiminerals, with vitamin D (increases uptake of calcium).
Won't happen overnight. Give it 2 or 3 months, but it can be done. I know because I've done it!
