Enteric or not, I would opt for, or recommend alternatives.

Just eat one medium sized Kiwi fruit a day and get the same benefits as aspirin without the side effects.

Is the effect of a kiwi fruit measurable? How much kiwi fruit works? How much is too much? At least with aspirin there has been considerable dose/response research compiled.

LOTS of data on aspirin and its effects.

I know a few people who take asprin daily and maybe for some high risk people it might make sense. I would be nervous about long-term effects that are stated with asprin. I've read that asprin slows the spread of cancer, so if you have cancer already it might be something to consider.

I think I'm better off eating vegatables, fruits, teas that help prevent cancer.

There are so many studies out there that a glass of red wine a night is better for your heart than asprin.

I agree with you. Aspirin blocks then good eicosiniods too, so if your not already on the 'highway', I don't see the benefit. A good chelator will remove iron just like aspirin without the other risks.
