Million Women Study Shows Even Moderate Alcohol Consumption Associated With Increased Cancer Risk

I heard this from a pathologist who chewed tobacco. The risk of Cancer dramatically increases when you combine tobacco use with alcohol.

I am not sure where he got this information, or even if it is true. I thought it was an interesting thing to investigate.

Actually that's a no brainer. It's long been known that just chewing tobacco dramatically increases the risk of oral cancer, i.e., cancer of the mouth and/or jaw. Baseball players in particular have been some of the more visible victims of this use of smokeless tobacco, including one of the most famous of all time, the late, great Babe Ruth, who died too young at the age of 52 from an oralpharyngeal cancer, a large tumor in the back part of his throat.

"Just like smoking cigarettes, chewing smokeless tobacco can eventually rip apart your body and kill you. It's that simple, really. There's no such thing as a 'safe' tobacco product."
