I was reading this article below, which I really enjoyed. There are a lot of tips on doing things healthy and one thing that struck me was using vegetables instead of chips for dipping into hummus or guacamole.
I'm just wondering if anybody does this and which vegetables? The only that comes to mind right away is carats I could use instead of chips on some things.
good veggies are celery, cucumbers & zucchini, with seeds scraped out to make like a boat.
And asparagus, slightly steamed.
I like to make black bean dip a little spicy with some cheese added or hummus
I like to have some sticks of celery with peanut butter/paste, or tahini spread in it, for a snack, you can also spread cream cheese with a sprinkling of garlic powder on the celery, if you eat cheese.
When I first got my dehydrator I enjoyed making zucchini chips which were simply dehydrated zucchini. They were crunchy and it was new and fun.
Now I just slice some cucumbers or take whatever dip I have and spread it in green lettuce with other fillings to make a veggie wrap. It's messy but a refreshingly light and healthy meal.
I just got two virus messages in my email from this post title. They came as new messages from Nat Med Talk and the sender was David1. I read the message and it had a lnk to "getting out of debt."
