As level-2 veggies/fruits I would recommend: \r\n \r\n* Carrots \r\n* Apple \r\n* Pear \r\n* Cucumber \r\n* Ginger \r\n \r\nBeets are, IMO, out of the game. Maximum is half a day (with carrots and apple). \r\n \r\nI would supplement myself with several detoxing herbs, oregano oil, clorella, garlic, TTN and iron. Maybe a few probiotics. As you\'re detoxing for 3 days, that\'s not gonna happen, but if you think about doing it for 15 days and eating once in a while, I would definitly recommend LOTS of spinach, garlic, reishi mushs, avocado and one fruit, like banana or mango. \r\n \r\nAll organic, that\'s a must.\r\n | \r\n

So if it\'s a three day fast, I begin cutting down foods 3 days prior to the first day of the fast. Cut off dairy, wheat, high levels of protein, and incrementally go towards no food. Then after the fast, allow same amount of days to wean back to food. Going off the fast is probably the most critical time as you can give your digestive tract + kidneys quite a jolt if you go right back to eating normal foods at normal portions.\r\n \r\n <!-' + '- / message -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n <!-' + '- message, attachments, sig -' + '->\r\n\r\n | \r\n

I am thinking of embarking on a 3 day juice fast, hopefully longer if I find it easy.
I want to know what juices are best to have to give me the nutrition that I need to sustain myself? I am thinking cucumber, celery, carrot, beetroot, parsley And I am also thinking of taking kefir milk to give me the calcium I need and some probiotics. I have to avoid too much sugar (and will avoid too much carrot juice for example), and I've had some chronic fatigue so I don't want to stretch my body too much, otherwise I'd ideally like to do a water-only fast. I am trying to figure out if I have leaky gut or something similar. My digestion is a HUGE factor in how I feel. If I eat too much hard to digest stuff like meat, then I feel foggy and achy etc. Any comments? |
